Yesterday afternoon Jennifer Love Hewitt indulged in a little retail therapy at Alice & Olivia, and we're not sure if it's the wavy hair or the light summer dress, but the actress looked...well...pretty!

Then again, she also looked pretty done up...almost like she knew the photogs were going to be there snapping her picture? Hey, as long as she's not a diva like Hilary or Vanessa, we don't mind!

That's how people are supposed to look when they are out and about. Most Americans are sloppy dirt bags that look like they're about to commit a crime or ride on the back of a truck oicking up garbage.
