i think the red on jessica is a transitional thing..she's probably planning on going back to being a brunette, this is just to not really fry her hair after going blonde. some/most hairstylists find this the better route to go especially when you go from one drastic to another (blonde to brunette). thats also why her hair isn't as red as ashleys, its a darker more subtle red.
