Actually, I would have had to have dyed-to-match ballerina slippers. I had me one of them thar Sunday-Go-Ta-Meetin' outfits that was a lavendar, sleevless shift a la Jackie-O and it had a matching duster (coat). I HAD to have leather shoes dyed-to-match. There was NO other alternative. I was such a runway queen in my teens.
