But now that I see her from the back, I've gotta admit - Jess doesn't look too bad at all! I know it's a far cry from her Daisy Duke days, but still!

Sure, she's put on a few pounds and she looks positively glowing, but check out how she has her bag in front of her belly in every single shot we snapped of her at LAX yesterday. Seriously, every shot, and we have about 57 of 'em!

So is she hiding a baby belly? Or just a food baby?

When we snapped Jessica Simpson arriving at her NYC hotel earlier today, we were totally relieved to see her covered up and wearing something a bit more fashionable. This is a huge improvement over that fug getup she wore the day before!

Despite looking reasonably attractive last night, Jessica Simpson waddled out of her car yesterday morning in NYC wearing THIS unfortunate ensemble.

Remember on Newlyweds when she'd traipse around the house in a white undershirt with no makeup on, looking totally gorgeous? We KNOW Jessica is a (naturally) pretty girl, so we're totally baffled as to why she insists on wearing tacky outfits that show off all the wrong body parts.

Look, even though she's gained some weight, we're NOT calling Jessica a fat cow...we're merely criticizing her inability to dress for her body type. Jessica shouldn't be wearing skorts this short, she's totally busting out of her blouse, and topping off the outfit with a gold jacket? Fashion fail!

Sure, we ask this about once every two weeks, but what else would explain her super inflated chest? We know she's gained some weight over the past few months, but after looking at these shots, it appears as though the bulk of it is in her boobies!

We snapped Jessica Simpson in NYC last night, and even though she looked tipsy on Sunday night, now we're beginning to wonder if it was just hormones causing her to act all loopy! Her boobs seem to have grown an extra size over the past week, she's got that glow, and her stomach...well, it IS protruding a bit in these shots...is it possible that little Bronx will have a cousin to play with 7-8 months from now?!

That's right, folks... the time has come yet again to compare the Simpson sisters.

Jessica has always been the hotter one, let's be honest. Ashlee even whined about it in her first album! Then Ash "fixed" her nose, dyed her hair and everyone started to notice her. And then she got married, popped out a kid and STILL looks like dynamite.

Meanwhile, Jess got divorced, had a string of messy relationships and, of course, her weight started to fluctuate a bit. Now it's official: Ash is like totes hotter, right?

Somebody had a fun time!

Ashlee's big sis Jessica decided she needed to let loose Saturday night and hit up a house party in LA with some pals... she had SUCH a good time, in fact, that when she left (at 2 am) she could barely walk a straight line! Watch your step, Jess - don't wanna ruin that custom-made outfit!

Aw, remember when she was the Simpson sister wearin' the tight-fitting clothes and Ash was all emo? Those were the days. And where's b/f Tony Romo???

We haven't seen these two together in quite a while, but last night, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo headed to the Staples Center (along with the sideline staples of Jack Nicholson, Leo, Tobey Maguire, et al.) to watch the Lakers defeat the Magic in game one of the NBA finals.

Jess, who sported a Dallas hat, has been known to be somewhat of a bad luck charm at sporting events, but luckily it only seems to affect the people she's dating!

Although Jess seems to be smiling in many of these pix, we can't help but wonder if this is a couple whose days are numbered...



Last night Jessica Simpson dined at Nobu in Malibu, and not only did she look sunkissed and happy, but she wore a reasonably cute outfit too! What's next, a hit film and a number one single? Er, that's getting a little ambitious, but hey, we'll be rooting for her...

Er, wait a second. Is it just us, or has J. Simp gained a few? That humongous bag is blocking our view, so we can't really tell, but it looks like Ashlee's big sis is really starting to look the part!

As much as we loooove to talk smack about her poor choices in clothing, we kinda fell in love with Jessica Simpson on Newlyweds, and she IS pretty entertaining, so this might end up getting pretty good ratings!

Jessica has a new reality TV series in the works, and Us Weekly reports that the show, tentatively titled The Price of Beauty is about Jessica and a friend going on "a road trip around the world in search of what people find beautiful and why." An insider reveals that Jessica will even try some of the "shocking things that women do to make themselves beautiful. Picture Fear Factor."

Now that sounds pretty interesting! Will you watch Jessica Simpson's return to reality?

Jessica Simpson graces the June cover of Vanity Fair, and it's pretty safe to say that we can put the Chili Cookoff trauma behind us - girlfriend is looking GREAT! As if posing for sexy pictures wasn't enough to catch our attention, Jess has plenty of interesting things to say in the interview...

On the media and all the nasty articles written about her:

“When it comes to media criticism, that’s just something I have had to train myself - literally train myself - to ignore. Because I’m the one up there onstage, and I can feel the energy of the crowd. And I know when I did good. And I know when I did great. And there wasn’t one time on this tour when I felt like I butchered it. I mean, the way people make it sound, I should have never been singing in the first place...I can’t imagine saying some of the things people have said about me about anybody else."

On her relationship with her father:

"I can talk to my dad like he’s my manager, and put ‘Dad’ on the back burner. We’ve been doing it since I was 13. So, at this point, we’re in a good rhythm. A lot of people find it strange, but it’s the only way I know. And I don’t care to know another way, because it suits me. And we’ve done a pretty dang good job."

On ex-hubby Nick Lachey and Newlyweds:

"I have not spoken to him in years....in all honesty, I believe [the show] did not affect our marriage. Because we enjoyed watching those episodes, and that will always be a time I cherish. It made me understand what marriage is, what love is, what commitment is."

OMG! John Mayer is REALLY making the rounds!

An inside source reveals exclusively to X17online that John Mayer and Jessica Simpson had lunch in Calabasas earlier this month! The duo was very careful not to be seen, and the source tells X17online, "Jess and John looked so happy to see each other, and it looked to me like they were more than friends!"

What is going on here?! Would Jess dump Tony for John, or is she just being a great flirt friend to the newly single singer? And what would Tony think of this?! Think the NFL quarterback is scared of losing his lady to John?

Saturday night she was all smiles without Tony, but last night, it was a different story, as the master of the blank stare appeared drunk and disheveled while leaving a bar at 3am.

With Jessica's current relationship seeming on a downward spiral, we can't help but think she was drowning her sorrows at the watering hole!

The last time we saw J. Simp, she looked downright sullen, but she was all smiles when we spotted her out on a date with her mom last night at Casa Vega! Awww, Saturday night with mom, how cute! Maybe she was just happy to have a break from her "mean" man!

Sidenote: Casa Vega was the same place we spotted Jess' ex Nick and BFF Cacee Cobb last week. It's like the Mr. Chow of the valley!

What relationship isn't on the rocks these days?

Last night in Hollywood, the Simpsons had dinner at Beso! No, not the cartoon characters - we're talking about Jessica, Ashlee and the whole clan...

Ash showed up first with her 'rents, and then twentysomething minutes later, Jess arrived with her beau Tony Romo. BFF Cacee Cobb also joined in on the family (and co.) dinner, which lasted about four hours!

But more interestingly, a source tells X17online Xclusively about some girls' bathroom drama during the course of the evening - apparently, Jessica had "been drinking a lot" at dinner and wound up "whining about Tony to Cacee in the bathroom!"

Our source continues: "Jessica kept complaining to Cacee that Tony's always being mean to her and treating her badly. She can't take it anymore."

Hmm, maybe that's why Jess doesn't look too happy on her way out?

Or is it possible that he's running TO his lady love Jessica Simpson? We couldn't be sure, but when we caught him leaving Beso last night, the football stud was definitely in a hurry!

Maybe he was just trying to avoid the paps? Hmm, we have a feeling he wouldn't have gone to a hotspot like Eva Longoria's restaurant if he wanted to fly under the radar!

Well, that's what one of the photogs on Simpson duty had to say last night!

Jessica and Ashlee headed to the Beverly Glen Center for dinner on Monday night, only to find that the restaurant they planned to eat at was closed. Hmm, call first next time? As they made their way back to their car, one pap told Jess how beautiful she looked and added, "You don't look fat at all!" Awww, how sweet! And she doesn't look fat, she actually looks pretty good...but who wears ripped jeans with knee boots?
