Travolta's Son May Have Died In His Arms...

jettdiedindadsarms.jpg

This story just keeps getting sadder and sadder.

As everyone knows by now, John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett has died and more details about the tragedy keep getting revealed every day.

Now Travolta's lawyers Michael McDermott and Michael Ossi (who are also close family friends) gave a joint phone interview to Us Weekly about the sad situation:

    A Grieving Family

"Yesterday was the worst day of his [John's] life... John is distraught. He is trying to understand and reconcile this. He is seeking an explanation so that this makes sense to him. And his loved ones are trying to provide that to him."

"Generally a son buries his father, and John thought that would be the way it would go with Jett, not the other way around. This is the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to him and he needs to go through a process of healing. John and Kelly are suffering total misery."

Breaking The News To Sister Ella

"John broke the news to Ella. She is heartbroken. She is in disbelief, but it is starting to sink in. She has been asking where her brother is. She was so close to Jett. The whole family were so close. They went everywhere together. If John made a movie, they were all there with him."

Did Jett Die In John's Arms?

"Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."

"He was a wonderful boy. He had physical limitations, but when he looked in his dad's eyes, the love was tangible. When he grabbed onto his dad, he did not want to let him go."

no, not sadder and sadder, just more and more unbelievable!!! why would these "close family friends" "confidants" and John's personal Lawyers be giving interviews to US Magazine so soon?? this has to be direct orders and permission from John himself..gee, it sounds SOOOO much better that Jett died in his Father's arms after John's heroic attempt to administer CPR than the kid was NOT being supervised, died alone and lay dead on the bathroom floor for hours! i am sure the Police will be forced to change the official report to John and his Lawyers version! money DOES talk in the Bahamas!!!

these lawyers work exclusively for the Travoltas. they are not about to be giving interviews without his express permission. probably the script was written by the Scientology Church. they have had time to send church people to the Bahamas, take charge and line up magazines that will print what they want printed.

too bad the Travoltas are more concerned with saving face and their image than anything else. Jett may have had a 24/7 nanny but obviously he had become either lazy or accustomed to not watching Jett closely. this was a paid employee, not mom or dad.

Just because he had a nanny doesnt mean that the nanny went into the bathroom with him! Geee, I think Jett looked capable enough to go to the bathroom himself! That could have happend to anyone. If Im babysitting someone's child I dont follow the kid into the bathroom.

YA RITE HOW LONG TILL WE SEE THIS STORY ON THE BIG SCREEN

they stated that Jett was having major seizures at least once a month after discontinuing medication. seems a bathroom with all the hard surfaces to fall into would be that last place he should be left alone. at least the nanny could have stood outside the door. they also stated he had 2 nannys and supervision at all times. notice no statements from the nannys, just the lawyers.

correction, once a week seizures. seems like that would be enough reason right there to keep an eye on Jett.

You people make me sick!!!!!These people have lost their precious son and you are trying to blame them for his death. For God's sake the boy was 16 years old. Should the nanny be strapped to his back!!!?Who cares what the child has...it doesnt matter because he is gone now.How anyone can be so dispicable to make nasty remarks about the family is beyond me.I lost my son a year ago. NO..I was not there to try and save him. If I had been there and had to give him CPR I would have died along with him.John Travolta is a saint because many parents would not have been able to do that!!Anon said it all. Thank you Anon!!! All of you who are leaving nasty comments just remember that what goes around comes around!!Now is the time to wrap your hearts around this family and pray that they can have the strength to go on.If I would have had to hear some of the nasty remarks like some of you made when I lost my son then I might not be alive today. Please think before you speak.Send your love and your prayers. This is what they need!!!

I can not believe how cruel some of you are. My daughter lost her son and they gave him CPR and it is a memory that will never be forgotten. How can you take such a heart break and pick it to death. Evil minds are the devils work shop

This also shows that bad things happen to celebraties and not just general people. Sad things happen to all kinds of people and our hearts should go out to everyone that is in despare. Noone care take back bad things that happen, we can only take a step back and ponder about peoples lives and how it effects others.. my heart goes out to his family..I am a medical assistant and i try and save lives everyday, it is a hard thing to do and sometimes it doesnt always turn out the way you want them to.. I am so sorry for John and his family.. may his family find the strength to move on..

I'm apalled as well. I was reading through these comments thinking to myself, wow. No matter what John, the nanny or whomever was supposed to be watching him, a child was lost. I don't want to imagine or ever know the heartbreak that must be. And if it was due to negligence on anyone's part that must be even more devastating. Would you like for someone to rub a detramental mistake in your face? Wow...
