I think that it is the other way around. Mario is into Karina. He took her to the AMA awards, his sister's house in Houston for Thanksgiving AND a 5-day trip to Mexico, just the two of them. Karina is the one who keeps saying its "wishful thinking" that they are dating, whereas he's had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. The whole display she put on in the video was very disrespectful to Mario and whatever there relationship is. Maybe she was just using him to get attention for her career.

The missing link to this story showed up in "In Touch" this weekend. Mario was in Florida w/ his cousin and his wife Dec. 3 and was seen chatting/hugging with an attractive brunette for a few hours. he didn't downplay the reports in a press interview for miss america. it never said that. they would've had quotes of him downplaying the rumors if that was the case. the article was discussing certain things about mario and all they said was that mario has indeed, in the past downplayed reports of a romance because the article is just giving info about recent things happening with mario. as far as their ralationship now, things appear, especially after new years, to have changed since then. and he hasn't denied it in a while but they're confusing, so ,we'll see if they try and lie again!

you make a good point. you'd think it would be easier on them once they admit it. my guess is, that during the show they wanted people to focus on their dancing not their dating. and if they admit it now they would look like they lied before. plus mario probably hasn't had good publice relationships, so he wants to try keeping it private.

I really didn't even know who Mario was until dancing with the stars. Does he always lie about his women. I know he did with Ali from what I've heard. I hope he has changed too. I think this relationship is actually good for him. I thought it was interesting that on "Dancing with the Stars" he said that Karina made him a better man and that he was dedicating his performances to the two most important women in his life "right now," his mom and Karina. To some people dating won't have the same excitement when you are not sneaking around. I truly think they are in love but how long it will last remains to be seen. He was with Ali over 5 years and cheated all the way through and was suppose to be in love with her too but I guess the glow was gone. Basically, Mario told Craig that because the show had a long run, there were opportunities where they celebrated after the show and had a few cocktails. Mario said he wanted to leave it at that. Craig said he was moving on to the next topic. Mario did say that is rumored life is untrue and he'd be a happy man if it were. I guess that means he wishes he were w/Eva Longoria, Britney Spears and Karina. To me, he kind of reinforced his single image. But he didn't say, "I'm available" like he did that one time to People magazine. It more like he didn't want us to think anything floating around the media about him and anyone is true. Frankly, he seemed very uncomfortable with the personal stuff and Craig changed the topic to football.

well, same old same old. we all know they're dating, and to me, him being uncomfortable with the subject kind of gives it away. so, yeah... we'll see what happens. i know that they're at least dating. they might not be serious yeat but.. for whatever reason mario doesn't want us to know it's his buisness. we'll never know why unless he tells us. thanksgiving christmas and new year??? come on! all the celebrities do this until it is revealed like a half a year later. the thing is it's been revealed several times, but he continues to deny it even with evidence. he's private give him a break.

i have a feeling we won't hear anything about them until about a month from now. karina's still on tour, and mario is filming a movie in canada. in early february they will both be done. and if things go like they have gone they'll probably spend valentines day together. their trend of spending holidays together will probably stay consistant.

When Craig said to come back with mrs vodka,Mario just smiled.I think he had told Craig before the show not to ask personal questions about Karina.It was quite obvious Craig was not getting into the personal stuff.To me Mario did not come across like he's single and available.He definitely was not pushing his 'i'm available' line.

I wonder if he's a serial cheater because he has ADD (attention deficit disorder) by his own admission. Maybe he gets bored or can't focus on one person for a long time. Obviously, he's also hyper insecure about himself. It was quite obvious when during DWTS he and Karina were describing the first time they ever met and she said that the first time she met Mario she thought he was "very charming, sweet, talkative..." and Mario interjected, "and extremely handsome." Obviously, being attractive to the opposite sex is quite important to him. I don't know why you date someone for 5 years, get engaged and married and cheat. Why bother getting married unless you are ready to settle down and have a family. You never have really heard him to talk about his divorce and what he learned.

You have to wonder why Mario said (to Craig F) he would be a "happy guy" if all the rumors about him in the tabloids were true. Does that mean he would like to think of himself with Britney, Eva and Karina? He'd like to be a player or was that just a throw away line, a front, if you will.

that was definately something he just said to kind of make people think he's single. like denying the rumors without actually denying it. he does that ALOT now!!! but that's better than just full on denying it like he used to. we allo know he's with karina, and i think now that he knows that he isn't denying it as strongly, but definately isn't admitting it.

i agree. by mario saying things like, "i would be happy if all that were true," he is making us confused, and keeping all of us guessing. that is his way of making us all think they aren't dating, while not actually denying it. because that would be a flat out lie. he used to that though.

I think Mario and Karina are not admitting their relationship to keep us all interested.If they come out and openly admit they are dating,there is no interest left in them or their activities.Whereas keeping everyone guessing makes people more curious and wanting to know more.Just look at this post.There are about a 100 comments on it and it keeps going.It has been great to read and hear everyone's thoughts and has kept us all entertained.Their mission is achieved.I'm certain they are really dating,but will keep us guessing as long as they can.

I think the simple answer is that they are dating,but not really serious.So it is easier to deny the relationship,then when they do part ways,it won't look too bad.Mario is busy these days with all the stuff he's doing-he is shooting an ABC movie in Calgary,hosting Miss America and covering the Golden Globes as an Extra correspondent.Karina is on tour.They don't have time for a serious relationship.

you know i think they are playing the most evil tricks on us. im pretty positive karina did exaclty what she wanted by kissing this guy up here, and i think mario was involved. think about it...they used to just flat out deny that they were dating, and they could, because we had no straight up PROOF of it. but after mexico pictures came out, that was our proof. the show was over, and that right there was our proof. so they couldn't just flat out deny it anymore, so instead they go and do something like, karina kisses another guy. and sfter that look what happened! everyone forgot about the mexico pictures, and were like, "oh maybe they broke up!"

but we now know they haven't broken up, AND that guy isn't with karina at all.hmmmm. that was their only way to get around it at that point. "mario who?" that's all she could say. but it worked. for a while they had all the magazines thinking they broke up after mexico. and karina told entertainment tonight days before the mexico pics that "there was somone special but it's not mario!" proof that that was a lie came out. proof that this kiss on this page was a lie.

all im trying to say is they have gone out of their way to make it look like they aren't dating. and everytime they do, we find out what they did or said was a lie! for whatever reason they want to keep it a secret is between them. but the have most definately been caught everytime they've lied or everytime karina has tried to make it look like she's dating someone else. there's no question that they have flat out lied. and that they're together. the ONLY real question is, why do they WANT us all to think they aren't together, when they know that we know they are???

this being said, mario hasn't lied AS MUCH about it recently. he's still on the denial area, but he doesn't really deny it anymore. he just kind of plays it coy, with at the same time denying it wothout actually denying it.

If anyone watched Extra's Golden globes coverage on Tuesday,Mario and Eva Longoria looke more than good friends.There was a very flirty vibe between them.I know she is engaged to Tony Parker,but there was just something in the way they interacted together.She basically took off his necktie and wanted it right then.He said it was going to be auctioned off to charity and she would have to pay for it,but he looked flustered and blushed a little.It was meant to be a funny moment,but I swear I could see the chemistry between them.

so what! of course they have chemistry! they've known each other a long time, care about each other, and that's that! she's taken, he's most likely (privately) taken, so there's just a really good fun friendship there. jeez!

Eva and Mario have been said to be friends with benefits in the past.

Saw the "Extra" clip w/Mario, and it was really frustrating because you don't what he was asked, the way they edited the show. The voiceover said that Mario had some "coupleless" news for us, which was, "I wouldn't make a really good boyfriend right now." But he was all shady when he replied because his eyes were darting around. He couldn't look the interviewer in the eye. He didn't say it w/ a lot of credibility. His tone was one of a liar. Obviously, he has a million things going on right now and Karina is on tour, so their paths weren't going to cross any time soon due to scheduling conflicts. I just don't get why you would spend every major holiday w/someone and then say two weeks later you aren't good boyfriend material. Maybe that's is out w/her so he can do what he wants, when he wants, without feeling guilty about it. She knows the score, so to speak.

Well, Mario is at it again. Apparently, he's done some more interviews this week w/Miss America coming up, and this is latest comment regarding Karina: "She's been busy doing the tour. She's a good friend. She's a great person. I have nothing but respect for her, and I think the world of her." That was a quote in the National Ledger. Again, you don't know what the reporter asked him. How the question was phrased, but considering Mario told "US" right after T-giving that he had "nothing but love for her." It sounds as if he's backed off.
