Yesterday we spotted Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell leaving her NYC apartment, and even though the daughter/stepdaddy duo were quick to slip into their car, we still snapped a few shots of them.

Kate's been looking grrrreat lately, and after her boy toy's team won the World Series the other day, we bet she's on cloud nine!

Kate Hudson graces the December 2009 cover of Elle UK, and we already showed you some of her sexy interior shots from the mag, but some of the things she had to say in the interview have us even more interested!

It's no secret that Kate's um, dated quite a few dudes in her 30 years, and she seems to be the master at decoding male behavior. "I sometimes feel like when you're talking to boys, they just hear certain keywords..." she says. "But if you had a bubble above their head, they'd be thinking about game scores, masturbation and food."

Kate continues, "I love boys...but I believe they're really simple. Every guy likes to say that they're complicated, but they're so easy to figure out. What did that Dr. Laura say? Something like, 'All men want is sex and for you to make them a sandwich.' I thought that was really funny - and not entirely untrue."

I guess she knows from experience!

Kate Hudson appears in the upcoming issue of Elle Magazine, and the 30-year-old actress posed for some sexy shots and dished on everything from A-Rod to botox to losing 20 pounds for her latest film role.

So what was Kate's secret to dropping the weight? Giving up the booze! "I love my glass of wine. I love tequila," she said. "To be in New York for two weeks and not have one beverage, I’m not sure I’ve ever done that!" That seems much healthier than the cleanse or the cookie diet, and these photos definitely show off her fab figure. But maybe a little less grease on her skin next time? Eh, whatevs - she still looks amazing!

Anyway, when asked about the ring she's been spotted wearing recently, Kate responded, "Did you know that it was this one, on my right hand? I hear about this and I’m like 'Why would I even respond? What would I say if you’re going to lie about something ridiculous?'"

While Kate didn't seem too keen on blabbing about her love life, she did open up when the topic shifted to plastic surgery. "Everyone’s so obsessed with who gets Botox, but it's great! Are you kidding? The fact that women can avoid going under the knife and get a little Botox treat and not have to worry about it? I'm glad it’s there for me when it’s time."

We love how refreshingly honest Kate is about most things, and with Nine coming out this Christmas along with a string of other movies in the works, it looks like this Oscar nominee isn't falling off the A-list anytime soon.

Kate got famous for playing Penny Lane, the ultimate rock groupie in Almost Famous, but it seems that life is imitating art in the way Kate's following A-Rod as he goes from coast-to-coast playing in the American league championships.

Ok, it's not like she's got the next Matthew McConaughey rom-com to star in right now, but we did think her life was a little bit busier!

I guess now that the Yankees won the ALCS series and prepare to face the Phillies in the World Series, she'll stay on the road a bit longer. But A-Rod does have one of the nicer butts in the biz, so I just might be crossing the country to get a good look at that thing, too!

Kate Hudson helped loosen up her boy toy A-Rod before the big game tonight at a lunch with pals yesterday at Cannery Seafood in Newport Beach.

The couple is staying in a luxury hotel in the seaside town so Rodriguez is close to Anaheim for the Yankees' games against the LA Angels. And Kate is oh so happy to be a part of the excitement of the playoffs.

We've spotted the pair out to dinner, shopping, out the lunch, hanging at the hotel -- Alex is certainly enjoying the Southern California weather and his beach blonde girlfriend but shouldn't he be practicing?

The rumors that Kate's knocked up with A-Rod's baby are false, says her rep.

Brad Cafarelli told Gatecrasher that reports that Kate's expecting a little A-Rod are false, despite the fact that pix of her looking a bit plumper are making the rounds.

But sometimes being happy can make you gain weight, and X17online can exclusively report that when we spotted the happy couple out at Giorgio Baldi last week, Kate was drinking wine!

So what's in her belly is most likely a meatball - not a little ball of joy!

Last night Kate Hudson and her boy toy du jour dined at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, and the low key couple did their very best to evade photogs as they snuck out of the restaurant afterwards. These two certainly enjoy their privacy, as they are seldom photographed out in public, but they definitely aren't trying to keep their romance a secret any longer. Aww, maybe Kate has finally found true love with Madonna's ex?

In addition to catching the slugger's game last Friday at Yankee stadium, the pair apparently had a private after-party at Mustang Grill!

A bartender was reportedly "asking patrons not to go in the back room around 1 a.m. because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were back there making out." A waitress at the joint confirmed that they were there together, but didn't confirm whether or not A-Rod even made it to first base.

Additionally, Kate was spotted outside A-Rod's Central Park West apartment (you know, the one he got to be closer to Madonna?) over the weekend before heading back to LA.

It wouldn't be the first time these two hooked up -- earlier this year they were also spotted canoodling at NY's Rose Bar.

Maybe A-Rod is just Kate's NY location-ship?
