I will say that neither one are very good actresses but I never understood why people thought Katherine was this exceptional actress from grey's anatomy. I think she was kind of shitty on that show. Kate hasn't blown me away with her acting either but Katherine seems like more of a twat.

Katherine seems to be getting a little big for her britches. I mean, she really isn't a household name or anything. Kate on the other hand is, daughter of someone famous always helps, but she has quit a few films under her belt as well. Some good, some not so good.

I used to sort of like kate, but since i heard a while back on a groupie site that an ex boyfriend or whatever claimed she had an unpleasing odor down below during an encounter, so that kinda did it for me. Don't know much about heigl other than she's very pretty. I'd say both are a little annoying, but not over-annoying.

Give heigl time and she'll come a long way. I think kate's career is at a real stand still, this last movie was terrible, can't believe it. Actually only saw the movie because of matthew anyways. I'm not impressed with kate in any way, shape, or form, now this heigl has definitely got my attention.

Yes, it takes more than just sloppy looking clothes to be considered hippie. So much fucking more! It doesn't always include drugs (fallacy) but more an attitude followed up with a certain consistent way of living life far away from any red carpet or oscars, but rather trading those things in for crafts and a garden. It would be fair to say that kate likes the look of a hippie, to the point of copying it, but is not at all interested in the hippie life-style. Therefore, kate is just having fun.

I'm afraid Kate tries to be like Goldie a little too much. Let me say, Goldie is not the be all/end all in acting, mediocre at best, but she does appear to be comfortable in front of the camera, where as kate is too pre-occupied with trying to be her mother on camera. There are plenty other actresses to emulate (older school) than goldie hawn, she is definitely not the last word in acting AT ALL! She did the silly romantic comedies, nothing really challenging her skills, to see what she's really made of. I think kate is happy to just make her little bundles here and there and not concerned with making any historical hollywood moments. What a shame! Nothing like the skills and determination of the old-timers.
