Seems like celebs are jumping on the grunge-era bandwagon and donning the pattern in a big way for fall.
Katie's a repeat offender (as is Lindsay), but we think we spotted the genesis of this retro trend over two years ago.

A pants-less Mary-Kate kicked the whole thing off in October of '06. And her label with Ashley, Elizabeth and James, even has a plaid version of the shirt (much more fitted, though) out on shelves now!
