Frankly, we have no way of knowing - the Maldives' Minister of Tourism sure isn't saying!
In addition to reportedly being "disturbed" by the volume of press requests for updates on the First Couple of Scientology, our India correspondent is reporting that the Maldivian Tourism poo-bah is apparently ordering the island's police force to be strict with the paparazzi.
But given the fact that Tom's honeymoon vessel is now anchored just off an atoll 4 hours out from the capital island of Malie (below), and that the downpours have been flooding the islands, I don't think the local government has too much to worry about!
Tom's private jet is waiting stand-by at the airport in case heavier rains force the couple to evacuate. Don't forget that just a year ago the Maldives was submerged after the tsunami.
So what do you think's happening out there in the Atoll? Is Tom jumping on his blushing bride with all the enthusiasm he'd shown to one of Oprah's couches?
