Katie Holmes strikes me as a very materialistic person. Shouldn't surprise anybody that she's only using her "daughter" as an accessory, a pet or a toy. You hardly see her show any care for the child. No shoes, no coat, dragging the kid out late in a cold night to walk around the Mahattan to get her pix taken.
Now she's struggling to get the so called debut in Broadway after failing to get any movie roles, she uses that robot child even more for exposure.

Suri really doesn't look cute to me.
Earlier, when she was younger and no so jaded, maybe she was cute.
But now every picture of her looks very bored and fussy or dull.
She looks very dull particularly with her hand in the mouth, sometimes, her whole fist in her mouth, like she wants to rip her guts out of it.
I find the look very very dull and numb.

Yes, millions of little girls take tap - but not 2 year olds - they aren't even that great at walking. A recital featuring this unattractive child (not her fault) would be interesting though. I've never been to a recital where the kid danced with a bottle in her mouth while wearing diapers!

My daughter is Suri's age, and she would LOVE the sound of tap shoes on her feet. It's not always about "pushing them" to do something. Sometimes it's just for pure fun. My daughter still wears diapers too, because she is not yet potty trained. Kids at this age tend to put their hands in thier mouths a lot when they're teething. How would you feel about scary adults with cameras constantly shouting at you and taking your picture? These people are human too. Truth is, you have no idea what is going on outside of these pictures, which are only a tiny fraction of their lives. Try not to criticize if you haven't been there.
