Britney tends to waste her money when she has it, giving her an "allowance" is a good thing. The conservators can also see what choices she is making with that money. All of this is to help Britney. Her allowance is spending money, for coffee, clothes, entertainment. That's $6000 per month, plenty for most anybody. That money isn't used to pay her bills, just fun money and necessities, too, probably, like cosmetics, toiletries, etc.

Her father's salary of 2500 goes to pay his bills, health insurance, life insurance if he has any, all his living expenses.
