Why does everyone think he's getting 7 mill from the sale of the Malibu house? There's no way the old house didn't have a mortgage, and then they put 3 million of improvements into it that likely were financed as well. He only gets half of the PROFITS after the sale. And that's after capital gains taxes, real estate commissions, etc. He will be lucky if he sees 1 to 2 million out of the deal.

Everywhere I read about what he's getting from the divorce it says he is getting 250,000 per month for 1/2 of the time they were married and that he should get about $7 mil from the sale of the house.

This is not one of your average Britney fans here...but this is someone who is close to Britney (I won't say who, for fear of recognition). All I'm saying is for you all to please allow her some breathing space and a little room to party and take a break. You guys, as simple media watchers and people who trust the words of the paps and news crews, are being so hard on her as a whole and she knows so.

But, Britney is in a different zone right now. She loved Kevin...she truly did. It's really funny how you guys say, "She started it by taking him away from Shar" and such because Britney is a much better person than that. Kevin met Britney and instantly, they became friends and best friends and soon, intimate lovers. She loved Kevin and was willing to give her career to be with him. She bought him a ferrari, she forked money over for his CD and other odd jobs, she even had two babies, despite knowing the consequences of having children (ruining "sexy" image, putting oneself in bad shape, and extra scrunity/responsibility)--she only did so because she loved Mr. Federline and was willing to grow old together with him. However, after the birth of their second son, things became considerably worse. What with partying, cheating, and such, Britney could not take it. She had risked EVERYTHING and lost so many fans/friends just to be together with someone she gave 150% of her heart and love to. She truly thought she had found her soul-mate. Britney is not a type of girl who judges one based on looks, background, or class. She judges someone based on personality, their character, and their honesty. She had trusted Kevin, the guy who would be so disparingly honest to her while those around her were fake and gold-digging. She never wanted anything out of him, but companionship, friendship, and someone she could spend the rest of her life--in good or bad--with.

Apparently, however, Kevin did not take his marriage with Britney seriously. Constantly, he walked out on Britney and let her down...time after time. At first, she kept picturing the same Kevin who she had loved in their earlier times together. However, as his constant partying ways, un-fatherly manners, and cheating ways began to surface, she was left heart-broken and feeling like a fool. He too, was another user and fake...he used her just like all of her "friends" that she had--the one person out of the crowd of fake faces had disrespected and violated her honesty, her integrity, and her devotion.

So, came the divorce. She cried...yes...she cried A LOT. She didn't want to divorce Kevin...especially since she had two children of his and was deeply in love with someone she had perceived to be her soul mate--in her mind, he was still that smiling, honest, and funny man who had given her the two greatest joys of her life: her two sons.

However, Britney has always been known to be strong. She hates showing her emotions to the public, especially when her every move is scrutinized by the media and public as a whole. So, she put on a brave face and a smiling demeanor and faced the world in her newly svelte body--a result of determination and hard work (not surgery as many would like you to believe). However, with every day that she spent recording and singing (in that first week after the divorce), she came to find that she couldn't get over him...the times he spent with her in the recording studio, singing songs of heartbreak and love...they all reminded her too much of him. So, she cancelled many recording sessions and headed out to Vegas, partially to perfect what songs she already had, and partially to escape thoughts of Kevin with some carefree fun.

There, she partied with Hilton, who proved to be very adept at helping to relieve stress and have fun. For a while, she forgot about the divorce and concentrated more on what made her happy. As time went on, however, thougths of Kevin arose again...this time, not of sadness, but of hate and jealousy. She wanted to spite him...to make him jealous, to make him pine her, and mostly, to make him care for her and stare in shock and awe. Though the few crotch shots were unplanned (seriously, they were!), the constant partying was not. It was Britney's way of getting back at Kevin, the one love of her life who had so easily moved on to strippers, hookers, and tramps.

Even though she partied, Britney never stopped caring for her kids. During the daytime, she would wake up and play with her children in the safety of their house or hotel room. Instead of bringing them out, she vowed to keep her sons as safe as she could and out of the public eye. At night, after bathing them and feeding them, she would put them to bed and take a quick nap before heading out. Britney has NEVER forgotten her kids and it is cruel how some of you think she is a bad mother just because of these distorted images we get of her from the media.

Her other actions, such as going to burlesque clubs, showing up in underwear, etc, were merely to get the attention of Kevin and make him worry/ care for her again.

Britney is NOT a bad person, but this is her way of coping with pain and sadness. Rather than being sad and moping/crying, she uses her new energy to party and have a good time so that she can be mroe of a happy person for her children, who would be negatively affected if she spent her time at home caring for them whilst crying, moping, and thinking horrible thoughts of Kevin--who knows what she would do then?? And also, she wants to show Kevin that she is doing well without him...and sometimes, she just wants to know if he cares for her sanity (Which he doesn't seem to).

But do not worry guys, Britney will be back. Her CD has been in the making and after listening to a few tracks, I can honestly say that it will certainly gain her old fans back and more. Britney's personal life, though seemingly tragic, is far from it. She is surrounded by friends who TRULY love her for her down-to-earthedness, honesty, loyalty, caring, and her ability to put on a smile in the worst of times. She has always been a good person and continues to be and I hope this message can help you understand the magnitude of her relationship with Federline and why she made so many "errors" in these past few weeks.

Britney could NOT have "taken" Kevin away from Shar if he really loves Shar ... you know, loyalty, love and all that jazz. Maybe she financed the house so if they did divorce and they had to sell as a result, the mortgage (interest, finance charges and such HAVE to be met before the principle amount can be paid off ... it is how banks make their money and most financial institutions. The make their money from the interst ... that is why even auto companies like GMAC ... you first payment go strictly to meet the interent, THEN you start paying off the actual cost of the house. Seems like a shrewd move if she did it on purpose to protect him from making "7" million from the sell.

I think what Brit did to Kev is sad, she wanted him to have a career, and then she cried about him being out and about doing his thing to promote himself and his album. I think she should have been a grown up and supported her husband instead of sulking like a spoiled brat. You reap what you sew little girl. Every WOMAN I know spends every momet with their kids when they are tiny babies. Brit needs to call Kevin and beg him back. He is the only one in her camp who could control her. Like Paris Hilton said, "she's an animal".
