I am a social worker in child welfare in another state and we don't just come in and take peoples kids. In fact in the current times we try to keep families together. Removing kids is a very last resort under the worst circumstances and that is if there are no family members to take care of the children. As long as Kevin is taking care of them they will not be "taken". Also if for any reason they were, one of the grandparents would likely get them. If that is a social worker she is probably just checking on them. They may have certain requirements that Britney and Kevin have to keep up like parental visits with Britney. The worker could be making sure the house is child-proof and there is adequate nutritional foods, etc. Chill people unless you know what your talking about. Research proves that removing children is most often more damaging. Working with the parents through counseling and parenting education is best most of the time.
