I like Kiefer and his father Donald Sutherland. He get's his drinking issue honestly from his family. I hope he gets it under better control one day. He does seem to stand up and take ownership of his actions when it's gotten out of control though. Such a hard addiction to overcome.

No, it's not all good. Once you're an addict, you're an addict and that can never be taken away. You can try rehab, a twelve-step programme. etc., but ultimately it is the individual who wants to quit. They have to quit for themselves. I wish the best to Kiefer Sutherland. He's undergoing a personal problem with the media following his every step. It makes it that much harder. Good luck and my very best wishes. I would also add that he is one of my favourite actors. He's a talent and should not be belitteled for something that could happen to anybody.

OMG! U GUYS ARE UNBELIEVEBALE! Kiefern goes out for a night on the town with friends and he drinks beer. OMG, SOMEONE CALL THE POLICES! I mean come on he is aloud to drink and yeah okay he has had 2 DUI and he knows they guys at the bar but who is he hurting? thta's right: NO ONE! Wish his friends and MP could help him see that he is hurting himself with his constant drinking to excess instead of enabling him. It's good that MP is his friend and driver but he's also an enabler.

@Not Just One Night, so totally agree with you. First, their facts are incorrect, he drinks scotch and whiskey and he is NOT a recovering alcoholic; he has never even tried. Most of the people in Kiefer's life including, MP who is really his employee, are just enablers but that's what people do in the celeb world. They keep enabling the rich and famous to continue collecting. Also, I found MP's behavior over the top. If anything he just calls attention to Kiefer by acting in this way. Just walk to the car and drive off. Let's not have theatrics!!

I think MP's behavior is odd too; seems over the top for the situation. I mean, Kiefer coming out of a bar is hardly news. Kiefer also seems uber-solemn for drinkingKiefer. There's something strange to me about the whole little scene. Does anyone know who the other guy is?
