Why are stars always so afraid to admit that they're dating someone? We understand wanting privacy, so just say that - don't lie about it!

Kirsten Dunst (whom we admittedly love) is talking to Harper's Bazaar about those pesky Justin Long romance rumors, which she thinks "are the funniest thing on planet Earth." Really? Wow, I disagree!

The actress insists she only "met him once" and that she's "never seen him since." What about those multiple reports - and sightings - of the two hanging out in August? Not to mention the pix we snapped of 'em (above) having lunch at the Chateau Marmont?

C'mon, Kirsten!

Just make your movies and leave it at that!

LOL.. OK LIKE 2-3 WEEKS AGO SUNSET JUNCTION WAS BEING HELD LITERALLY BEHINGD MY APT. BUILDING.
