The feud continues...

Lauren Conrad is so done with The Hills that she went on The View this morning to talk about it. There the "actress" claimed that arch nemesis Spencer Pratt never called her to apologize in the season finale.

"To be perfectly honest, I wasn't on the other end of that call," explains LC. "So, no, I didn't get an apology. He lied."

Wait, the show is staged? Duh! But you know what? I'll love Lauren Conrad if she starts blabbing more secrets. She might've left the show (for now), but the drama never ends!

Now that she's no longer living her life on camera, Lauren Conrad tried to trade her sunny blonde in for a dark bob for a Harper's Bazaar shoot.

Although the color definitely brings out her eyes, we're glad it's not a permanent switch. She'll always be blonde LC from LB to us!

Even though I'm not Lauren Conrad's biggest fan, I will say this...I do love her simple yet casual summer outfit, and I'd totally wear something like this. In fact, I'm actually wearing the same exact pair of skinny strap Rainbow flip flops right now...I die!

Anyway, we snapped the former Hills babe in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon, and even though she's not smiling or doing anything remotely interesting, photogs decided to snap her picture anyway. But why?

I may not be Lauren Conrad's biggest fan, but I will say this: the former Hills star and actor Kyle Howard do make a pretty cute couple. Kyle looks like he stepped straight out of a Gap khakis ad, and Lauren dresses so chic and simple, they're a preppy fashion match made in heaven!

We're thrilled that Kristin Cavallari is taking over on The Hills, but what about those die hard Lauren Conrad fans who have started to go through withdrawals? Fear not LC lovers - just because she's no longer on the show doesn't mean the paparazzi are going to stop taking her picture! For now, anyway.

We caught Lauren and Lo shopping at Macassar Home on La Brea in Hollywood yesterday, and as always, Lauren remained poker faced and acted like she didn't want all the attention. Think things will slowly become less crazy now that she's off the show? Or will the hype continue?

Lauren Conrad is so over that show and I don't blame her. Not that I'll stop watching, but still! She's had enough fake drama between Heidi/Audrina/Stephanie/Lo/Jayde/Kristin and needs some time to spend with her (real) boyfriend Kyle...

That being said, think LC will ever return for another MTV reality show? The Valley!

It's official, people - reality star Lauren Conrad will totes not be returning for the sixth season of The Hills, MTV has confirmed...

Dry your eyes!

We all knew it was coming, but the network has just now released this official statement to X17online:

"MTV viewers will find out life in Los Angeles only gets more complicated as friendships, relationships and loyalties are tested like never before as The Hills returns this fall with more episodes of season five. Lauren has moved on, but Heidi, Audrina, Spencer, Brody, Stephanie, Lo and Justin Bobby will be back as the drama continues with fresh faces, new stories and shocking surprises. Spencer and Heidi will be newlyweds so the stakes are higher than ever before for the two to make things work.

I know most people don't really seem to care about Lauren anymore - after all, the show isn't her real life - but can the series survive without her at the center?

Nobody's perfect - not even Cindy Crawford! And that's why when we decided to research which stars have the worst cellulite, we weren't all that surprised...

I mean, we all know that Phoebe Price in a bikini is not the SEXIEST image on the planet, but if you check out our huuuuuge gallery below, you'll see that everyone from Lauren Conrad to Amanda Bynes sometimes show off a little cellulite. Yeah, it happens!

Aww, that was kinda harsh, but no one said trying to make it as a fashion designer was easy!

After Lauren Conrad announced that she was taking a break from her overpriced high-end clothing line, US Weekly reports that the Hills honey is launching a new line with Kohl's.

Lauren tells the mag that her new collection, called LC Lauren Conrad "is a California chic line. It is a little more casual. They are basically trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere."

And it looks like the reality TV starlet is getting a little more realistic in her price range too - the apparel will run from $20 to $60 per piece.

On her decision to put the brakes on the pricier line and focus on a more economical clothing collection, Lauren said, "It was just kind of a battle I had because I wanted to do a higher-end line - I wanted to do a contemporary line - but I was also very aware that the reason I was able to do it at such a young age was because of fans that have supported the show and have supported me."

What a wannabe! I know Lauren Conrad and her beau Kyle Howard are always looking down around the paps, but this is a little much. Just because you're an actor doesn't mean you have to looove the celebrity aspect of the job, got it! But LC's a reality star that not only appeared on Laguna Beach, she also convinced MTV to follow her to LA for The Hills! Comes with the territory, Lauren.

Is it that difficult to smile politely?

Last we saw LC, she looked moody and annoyed. Not surprising! But now check her out at some red carpet event at the MGM Grand in Vegas - she's actually smiling in these pix! Who knew she had it in her?

You can tell Lauren Conrad is just so sick to DEATH of being a famous reality TV star. It's almost like she's too famous. Everything about her just screams, "ugh."

Think she'll disappear from the public eye when she leaves the show or will she wind up coming back for more?

And if you watched the season premiere last night, you can kinda tell!

Gatecrasher reports that although what's being billed as "Lauren's last season of The Hills" just started, Lauren's contract expired in March and she's happy to be done with it.

“Now that she’s finished out her contract, Lauren is completely done with the show,” a source tells the paper. “She’s already capitalized on her success — she’s taken this ride as far as she can.”

But how will the season play out if Lauren's not shooting anymore? With episodes typically airing within a month of the action, the source says that producers have already asked Lauren to "react" to a multitude of situations in preparation for the upcoming season.

“The producers would make Lauren react to a lot of potential scenarios, because they’re not yet sure how the finale will play out with the other characters. They would literally give her directions like, ‘Now react to Stephanie Pratt being pregnant!’ Lauren would just giggle and go for it. She also had to pretend to react to a fake story line about Audrina and Brody hooking up,” says the insider.

MTV denies anything being "fake" about the show, of course, but from last night's acting 101 scene on the booze cruise we're not too sure. Course the fight between Spencer and Cameron seemed all real, though, right?

Speaking of drama queens, there are of course some cast members who aren't so heartbroken over Lauren's departure.

“We don’t need her,” Heidi said. “We’ll miss her — I just don’t know if we need her. I know she hasn’t been wanting to be doing this for a while, and [the life she really leads] is not on camera. So I think it’s a closing chapter for her. [Lauren’s] gotta leave the dramas to the pros!”

But could the show really survive without it's star? That's a question MTV will most likely attempt to answer with season 6!

Actually, maybe being boring is their secret. If they don't talk about their relationship, don't do anything interesting and always keep their heads down... people won't care about them! Bravo, guys, bravo.

Oh! You mean Lauren Conrad. Gotcha. The Hills starlet was out and about with her b/f Kyle yesterday, first taking her pooch for a walk in Westwood and later grabbing dinner at Dominick's in West Hollywood. Just like a regular young girl!

I mean, Lauren is on a hit MTV show, and she does get a lot of press, so of course she has fans!

Last night LC went to Luau in Beverly Hills, (you know, to avoid the paparazzi), and she happily signed some headshots for a middle aged autograph seeker. I'm sure these will be going up on eBay later today - how much do you think they'll sell for?

Full of reality stars, that is! I guess you're really no one in this town until you have a tv crew following you 24/7. But what happens when the crews collide?

Not that Lauren Conrad and the Kardashians were both necessarily filming last night at My House, but that is definitely one tv crossover I'd like to see.
