Candy Coming Soon To A Theater Near You
LA Candy, the fictional book reality star Lauren Conrad wrote about a girl who becomes a reality star, was acquired by the executive producers of Twilight, says Variety, who plan on turning Lauren's New York Times bestseller (yep) into a movie.
So that means, if the film gets made, we'll be watching a scripted movie about a fictional reality star who has cameras follow her around during every aspect of her carefully scripted life.
Sorry, but if I'm watching a fake reality star act out a scripted scene, I'd rather just watch The Hills.
Seriously, why would we want to watch a movie about this airhead? Watching her on tv for umpteen years was enough!
