I really don't think you are a bad dad, or a bad person.
I think, you have made some bad choices, and decisions, in the past & present that are affecting you Lindsay, and whomever else. I think you really love your daughter with all your heart.
And that is why you are so stressed & emotional.
I can see that you are extremely frustrated about the choices, and decisions that Lindsay is and has been making. I also think that Lindsay loves you very deeply also.

You are concerned about her career. Lindsay needs some real help/before she can resume her career. She needs someone to help her sort the pieces of the puzzle and put them back in a logical manner, so she can feel good and at peace with herself again. She is really hurting right now.
As far as her love life. Once our kids are grown their lives are theirs to love whomever they choose, black, white,yellow or pink, gay, straight, bi, or whatever. (My daugher has been thru her choices) I am fine with any., as long as they don't hurt my kid. If she loves them, and they are good to her, then I love them too.
Both of you need some type of counceling, or a mediator to sort thru and help the both of you and maybe your other daughter as well.
Don't let an ego get in the way of helping Lindsay and yourself. You really need someone not involved with the two of you to step in and help both of you.
