Good for her! She looks healthy and happy. I'm glad to see the Promises people are also teaching her how to ignore the paps - I always thought that was a big problem with her - she interacted with them and fed off of it too much, which is not good for her at all. Good to see her just living her life and not responding to them, that's what she needs to do. She needs to protect her real life.

I just want to thank everyone for their kind words, They are greatly appreciated I am coming back with a full blast in the year of 2008 with my new movie "I know who killed me", so just wait for it. And I am slowly recovering every single day...and I feel that the media should just leave me alone at this time because it will take me baby steps to get better and these things that their doing isn't helping it one bit.

I’m sorry that you have to see such a mixed bunch of comments in here – I hope that you understand that some people are simply mean-spirited and hurting and need a place to vent, and someone to tear down. In another post, we call these people “haters”. Well, I guess they are haters in this post too. Please don’t take their comments personally – I know you are a good-hearted person and can forgive (or maybe better, just ignore) those kinds of remarks.

You are so right -- the media would do you a favor by leaving you alone at this time – but I’m afraid the media is mainly self-serving, and could care less about doing anyone any favors. I wish I knew how to get the media to BACK OFF! -- literally. While we love to see you getting better -- and having fun -- we DO NOT need to see you in a camera less than two feet from your face! And YOU CERTAINLY DO NOT NEED THAT! But it is so nice that, whenever the media shows up anymore, what they – and all of us – see is YOU! – Coming back, becoming stronger, growing into Lindsay, the woman we love to love.

Also, it is becoming SO “TIRESOME” (that’s a nice word for what I’m really thinking) to see the old pictures of you dredged up and re-published as “news”. That really is JOURNALISTIC LYING – why would any of us be interested in (re-)reading a bunch of lies? Oh well – I guess there are some people who want to see that kind of stuff and could care less about – or just don’t know the difference between a lie and the truth.

It is good to hear you say that you know your recovery will take time, and that you need to slow down and take "baby" steps – that tells me that you really are aware of what you are dealing with. That is so important – and so GOOD, Lindsay! MANY of us have had to go “through the valley” in order to appreciate being “on the mountaintop”. When you think about it – it’s difficult to go from one mountain peak to another without having to go through some sort of valley – even if that is simply a time of “de-tuning”, or stepping down. What you need to understand is that stepping down is not something to be afraid of – not something to think, “OMG – I’m losing it – I’m not on top any more ...” As you should well know by now, there will ALWAYS be plenty of publicity, Lindsay – you need never fear that your publicity will disappear. However, we would ALL like to see the publicity you get from here on be the BEST kind – like what we have seen recently.

You don’t HAVE to be on top all the time. It’s “ok” – not only that – it’s necessary – to turn away from the “peak experiences” of being ”on top of the world” from time to time. On the mountain top, the view is wonderful – but you are in full view of everyone, and there is no shelter for you. We all need to take some time off and retreat into a quiet valley of rest. Unfortunately, in sorting this out – you have been “forced” into the valley. You knew you needed to get away, to retreat – but the “valley” you chose was not very, shall I say, “hospitable”. What I hope and pray is that you learn to PLAN for times off – to recognize when things are getting uncomfortable – and retreat – in a HEALTHY WAY! You will find that the time away becomes more and more welcome.

For most of us, some things can only be learned through experience. Just know that these experiences can MAKE YOU STRONGER – not put you under! One day at a time, one step at a time! But EACH ONE a little more successful!! – getting stronger every day! And know that you are never really alone – you have the thoughts and prayers of many of us. We rejoice with you when things are going well, and WE WILL STAND WITH YOU – and cry with you -- when things are difficult. We have, and we will.

Lindsay -- please know that you have MANY fans who truly love you -- not only for who we see you as on screen, but who care for you as the very special person that you truly are. We appreciate all that you have brought to us as an actress, and look forward to your continued success in 2008 and for many years beyond.
