You know, I've been doing a lot of thinking since this little story of them "dating" broke last year, and for some reason I can't remember when Samantha "came out". Which lead me to think, how do we even know she's really a lesbian? I mean she could just be an extremely tom boyish straight girl. I remember reading one of her blogs on myspace where she was talking about 9/11 and she mentioned being scared and wanting to go to her boyfriend's(at the time) house. Now by means am I saying that people don't change, but you know I've never looked at her and Lindsay as more than friends. I hang around my friends all the time. I stay the night at their houses, and we go shopping and eating together. Does that make me gay? No. I just like spending time with people that have a positive influence on my life. Maybe Sam has a positive influence on Lindsay's life and vice versa. I think before we start saying that they are a couple or were a couple, there needs to be some hard, physical, tangible evidence that points to them being lesbians. Until then I'm sticking with the extremely tom boyish straight girl and her straight actress friend.
