I don't see the harm in what Lindsey's father is doing. Would I handle it this way, no but no one else is forcing her to address her problems, not even the courts. Perhaps this could be the best thing for her. The courts or at least her AA group or Probation Dept. should do a hair drug test now that these allegations have come out. It should be pointed out that neither Lindsey nor Dina nor the assistant are denying these events or drug use. Rather, they're attacking Michael as a bad husband. Why would any parent talk to the media about their children? My children are sacred to me and I could not imagine gossiping about them to the press. What sort of parents are the Lohans? I don't know if Lindsay or her family reads this blog. It sounds a little like they truly might. If that is the case and you are reading these posts, I really hope that you are OK and that the things that people are saying about you regarding drug and alcohol use is untrue because, just like everyone else in the world, you are special, unique person who deserves to be healthy and happy. You won't be able to achieve that by doing destructive things. You have to take care of yourself for YOU and love and respect yourself enough to protect your heart. Do not put your trust in other people. Make them earn your trust. You can build self-esteem by deciding that for the next few months, you will forget about yourself and your problems and selflessly devote that time to helping others outside of the media spotlight. Sometimes people are put into the spotlight not because they are supposed to fulfill their own selfish cravings for fame and fortune, but because they are meant to bring attention to a cause or charity that could result in helping millions. Your calling in life may be something much bigger than acting in movies. You should humbly search for it, and find strength within yourself to be the leader and not the follower. Do not let other people negatively influence you. Hold tight to your dignity. It's all we have.
