Lindsay Lohan’s Assistant Fears for The Actress’ Life

New tapes of an emotional phone conversation between Lindsay Lohan’s assistant Jenni Muro and Michael Lohan (leaked to RadarOnline.com), reveal Muro’s fears that Lindsay will kill herself.

In a taped phone call, obtained by the Web site, Jenni tells Michael, “I am trying to save your daughter’s life every day.”

She is so convinced that Lindsay would harm herself, in fact, that Jenni tells Michael she wants to stop working for Lindsay “because I don’t want it on my watch either.”

In the 2008 call to Michael Lohan’s Long Island home, Jenni is annoyed that she relocated to New York while Lindsay took a guest role in Ugly Betty.

“I get a 5 percent commission on this entire TV show and it’s sick and disgusting and I’m here and I give up my boyfriend and my dog and my parents and my new place in L.A. and everything so that your daughter doesn’t kill herself, ok?”

Jenni also says that Lindsay’s obsessive relationship with DJ Samantha was “unhealthy,” saying Lindsay’s priorities were only Samantha, not work and not her family. She describes Samantha as Lindsay’s “absolute addiction.”

Lindsay and her fans are going to be hard pressed to label and dismiss Jenni Muro as a hater. Muro’s close observation and conclusions are the same as any normal person (i.e. non-fan) watching this drama unfold at a distance. The tape is from 2008 but Lindsay’s situation hasn’t improved from an intervention and rehab. It has worsened. The human body can endure a finite amount of self-abuse before serious, perhaps, permanent damage occurs. Wake up Lindsay, the party's over!

I disapprove of Lindsay’s dangerous behavior and hope she seeks help. However, I wouldn’t trade one day of my life for Lindsay’s infamy and the sudden wealth she earned and burned. Whenever I read someone defending her dangerous behavior by assuming everyone is a hater, jealous and bitter, I naturally wonder if the person is extremely young and naïve or a poorly educated adult. Just though you should know.

Lets see if I got this right. She went out to eat with a gal pal. She went home. En rounte she was accosted by a stupid photographer who asked stupid questions and she gave he/she/it a dirty look. OK, and the story is? NOT a story. She was not drunk, she did not talk, she went home and stayed there the rest of the night, she did not party, she did not break any laws. Therefore, I prefer to approach readers/writers as individuals first and as a member of a special interest group second. I also prefer to read and respond to opinions from both sides of every issue. Lindsay is more than the sum total of questionable deeds. She is an emotionally distressed young woman. She often seems anxious and may dread being alone. The most supportive advice I could offer Lindsay would be to schedule an appointment with her physician for a comprehensive physical examination. Physician-patient privilege will safeguard her privacy. Her physician can evaluate her current health and assess the effectiveness of her prescriptions. Some may need to be increased, reduced or eliminated. Prescription drug interaction is also a concern. It is very important she understand even modest alcohol consumption with her prescriptions can cause damage to vital internal organs. Most people don’t realize modest alcohol consumption with acetaminophen (such as Tylenol) can cause acute liver failure. In addition, she needs to have a candid discussion about how she is handling stress.

I wish she had someone steady and reliable who had her best interest at heart. Someone who is not a member of her family or an employee. Someone who is not a romantic interest. Someone who is simply a close friend and trusted confidante.
