Lindsay Lohan was allegedly drunk and had cocaine in her system during an early morning smash-up in Beverly Hills on Memorial Day weekend.

According to multiple law enforcement sources, toxicology reports conclude that Lohan, 20, had "nearly twice the legal limit" of alcohol and traces of blow in her bloodstream when she crashed her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible into a curb on Sunset Blvd. around 5:30 AM on May 26. In California, drivers with a .08 or higher are legally drunk.

Police tell TMZ Lohan and two other adults were in the car at the time of the accident. After the crash, she was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries, then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI. Cops later said they found a "usable amount" of cocaine in the car.

We're told that the Beverly Hills Police Dept. could present the case to the Los Angeles D.A. in the next few days.

So, does this girl not deserve the anonymity assured to members of AA? To the argument of 'oh she's just acting' - perhaps that is her angle - people don't find their way to those rooms without being up against some wall, most people with long term sobriety didn't just wake up and go, aww i'll go ahead and check out aa, they're usally driven in by flamethrowers of some sort, such as an upcoming hearing, probation, or some other kind of doomed scenario, and then hang around when/if they figure out that there is something good for their life there.
as far as anonymity - it would have sucked being someone else at that meeting trying to walk out or in those doors.

Having never attended an AA meeting, I may not know what I am talking about BUT I thought that the anonymity only applied to the meetings themselves and not anything that happened in public view.

drama queenie, you do have a point, but still, it isn't right to make a major announcement that she is in an aa meeting, and then call out her name and try to profit off of it, that is just pure tactless greed, in my opinion, can't they just save their picture taking for the red carpet, beach, even shopping, if they must. She is there because it is a part of her treatment in her rehab, although 12 step programs are not affiliated with rehabs, the rehabs often make their clients go to meetings as part of the treatment program. why do the paps want to film that? they have plenty of other photos. i only see x17 stooping so low.

Anyway Paris' predicament showed that she did not escape justice. The same will happen with Lohan simply because they have a zero tolerance now. The question is her latest stunt regarding being pregnant also an attempt to escape from jail. If she does go to jail then no one else can help her... except herself. Thus the irony in all of this. Sadly we have allowed this as a society to happen all this time but at least it is slowly coming to an end where these little girls with fortune are shown that they are not above the law. Parasite is one of them and now the pendulum is slowly swinging to the extreme where many Americans will not tolerate such behavior.

That is why Lohan is in so-called "rehab" plus leaking it out that she is pregnant. True or not these are all facades to try to escape from taking responsibility from her actions. Parasite has already shown that our society will not tolerate such a thing so Lohan is only buying time.

First of all, Hi!! and i'm sorry but i think you're so wrong about the paps. Sorry but they're actually the biggest stalkers on this planet. And nobody denied that before, Even the Celebrities themselves.

How are they different from news photogs who swarm at vehicle (plane, train, car) wrecks? Except that people involved in these events generally do not have the publicists who have the paps on speed-dial.

I'm with you on that one drama queenie. They feed off each other. Literally which does a disservice to an innocent person who may die from her negligence, drug use/abuse, liquor, etc. If one of them dies from her actions then that is the only time they care.

Same with Lindsay. The only time she will care is when she goes to jail. She is only lying to us like how she lied about her boob job. She even explicitly stated that she didn't do any drugs. She is still lying to us using this rehab facade to try to get out of serving jail time. This is all an act and I do not buy it.

In my opinion, she will eventually have to face the truth and it will not be a pleasant experience.

A lot of celebrities attend AA meetings in the greater Los Angeles area and inside the rooms they are treated with respect and as an equal. I hope that everyone can practice some basic kindness and give her some space.
