Nevertheless, your annoyance should be directed at the parents not a minor child. Michael’s tactics with his adult daughter may be harsh but I think he genuinely fears for her life. He said he tried to deal with these problems privately but it failed. There is so much bad blood between her parents. I understand why it failed. I can’t imagine how worried a parent would have to be to cut through the public relations defense and go public with this nightmare. I don’t know who is threatening to sue people but I doubt it’s Michael. He wants and needs the public’s support. Threatening people doesn‘t garner support. It may be a fan who wants to believe everything is fine or an annoying troll. Who knows. I could be wrong.

I don’t know if the D.A. makes a referral. I do know federal law governs the deportation of a foreign nationals convicted of a felony. Homeland security legislation changed a lot of acronyms including INS. The deportation process is now called the removal process. How politically correct! It wouldn’t surprise me if Spears’ lawyers pushed for deportation at the end of his 36 month probation. Otherwise, they may have to go back to court to get second restraining order in 3 years. That is, unless they are afraid of what he might have. Whatever happens, I doubt anyone will know the outcome. Interesting speculation, though.
