I’m a new bloger at x17, approximately a month. And from first day, I was amazed how many garbage stories can x17 make on young starlets, and particularly on Lindsay. As the aim of the site is quit obvious, which is “dirty gossips” triggering contradictory discussions, so young celebs are easy targets for that as they have much more active lifestyle, are less protected and unaware of their rights, unable to maintain their privacy. Thus, I have tried to understand the strategy of x17’s Editorial board (if there is such board). From my short time observation, I swear, my prediction was that another story about Lindsay will top today’s chapter. And it happened! It was easy to get as during these several days, it was like that. Seems, the editor has this notion, if a story about Lindsay is on the top, it will keep an active discussion till morning and he or she can go to sleep. However, here it comes the pathetic side of this strategy. Per day, they need at least two “Lindsay” stories. First is like a morning coffee needed to wake people up and refresh the discussions. These stories are most likely written day head, or at least they got photos for that, as the morning stories are about yesterday or day before events. When they get Lindsay’s new pictures for that day, they are happy, as there is something for the evening closing up and some photos will be separated for day after morning session. When they don’t get any new shots, they just create story from old pictures like this one, which is quit lame, or come up with an untrue fight between LL&SR, without reasonable documentation. And that confirms not only Lindsay Lohan’s recent words about tabloids harming her carrier, but also the words of Meryl Streep back in 2006, before three rehabs and Lindsay’s carrier withholding, who said that “she is beset,…lot of people make mint living off of her” ( see www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzOVNh0Y9gE
