Lindsay's Off The Hook! - NOT!!!
Good news for Lindsay Lohan - she's no longer being sued for her 2005 car crash! Sources are telling us now that this ain't true! The suit against another person involved with the case -- the 2nd party owner of the car Lindsay was driving -- was dropped but Lindsay's still ON the hook, unfortunately for her.
CelebTV is reporting that an attorney for Raymundo Ortega has filed a notice of dismissal to drop the $200,000 lawsuit he filed against Lohan almost half a year ago.
The suit also named the Ivy as a co-defendant, alleging that Lindsay had been drinking on the restaurant's property before the wreck occurred.
Lindsay, for her part, has denied doing any drinking right from the start, issuing a statement claiming not to have consumed any alcohol or drugs at any point "in the hours prior to [her] arrival at the Ivy" or "between my arrival at the Ivy and the auto accident".
