Uh-huh. It's been a pretty crazy week for the starlets of Hollywood. Whether you're an actress, an heiress or even just a friend of the two, no female celeb was safe from the headlines. And no one has gone through a bigger transformation (well, some say transformation, some say neverending downward spiral) than Lindsay Lohan. As X17 broke the news, exclusively, the hooplah all started on what was supposed to be just another night out on the town...
After leaving a party in the Hollywood Hills early Saturday morning - and looking "completely wasted" according to one X17 photographer - she was driven back to her Doheny Drive condo. Unfortunately, she left again shortly after, only this time she was driving her black Mercedes convertible. Apparently there was a squabble between her and pal DJ Samantha Ronson - who had just stormed out of Lindsay's condo. Linds chased Sam down Sunset Blvd., where Lindsay was heard calling her a "f*cking lesbian bitch." But that didn't stop Sam from hopping into the actress' Mercedes with a male friend. Lindsay sped off west on Sunset and lost control of the car, jumping the curb on Foothill Road.
Police were called, Lindsay fled to a local hospital and then the Beverly Hills PD released this statement ...
In addition to being charged with DUI, Lindsay's nightmare continued with the discovery of cocaine in her car. Damn. By now, you'd think the girl would start pulling it together... but where did we find her the following day? Enjoying yet ANOTHER night of partying at Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel which led to this ...
Passed out with "friend" Samantha Ronson, of course! Yeah, what a terrific friend. Looks like she's really shielding her from the cameras!
Finally, after Lindsay's nights of partying and crashing (in more ways than one), the actress checked herself into rehab.
First Wonderland, now Promises. Phew! You'd think that would be enough news for one week(end). But no...
Other stars only seemed desperately jealous for some much-publicized attention as well. A day after Lindsay's DUI, fellow socialite Nicole Richie holds a Memorial Day party where Mischa Barton collapses from mixing alcohol with... antibiotics. Riiight.
I don't care what's in that Ralphs bag Mischa's carrying; rather, I wonder about what kind of crazy pills are in her purse. But that's not all! Party-thrower Richie completed the disaster trifecta on Monday when she backed into a woman's convertible on her way home from pal Paris' Memorial Day/Going-To-Jail party.
Oh, Nicole. Don't be so bitter! It's not as if your Memorial Day party e-mail invite, where you inform guests that "no girls over 100 pounds allowed in," was leaked.
Better watch out, Nicole - there's a lot of fat in those coffee drinks.
Meanwhile, where was Paris Hilton in all this? After all, she is going to a swanky, high-priced resort hardcore prison, isn't she? Have no fear - she was just throwing a little pre-jail party of her own.
Still, she didn't get into any accidents. That's saying something! One would've hoped these other girls could learn from Paris' mistakes. At the rate things are going, who knows how much of young Hollywood will wind up in jail? Or even worse... rehab.
