I feel that there are more peaceful, intelligent, and not to mention grown up ways to fight for the rights of animals. I fully support animal rights as well as welfare. However; sadly, most PETA supporters Ive encountered dont know their head from their as much less animal rights from welfare.
There are better and more effective ways to help our animal friends than throwing flour on celebrities! In the long run, how will this display affect the fur trade? Well..there will be many cheers from PETAns, a few scoffs from others, moderate media coverage, then Lindsay might have this dry cleaned and well, big deal. PETA, if they truly care about the animal above publicity, well get to work helping animals instead of criminals. Possibly even open a shelter with their tax exemption money or fund a refuge. Please, PETA supporters, educate yourselves in animal rights beyond PETA's front page!

Why offer a video and then you don't have it to view?

X-17, as professionals you're supposed to make sure that all photos are up and all video is working properly before you post your information for ALL to see. In this case we can't see anything but photos.

As for this incident, I don't like a lot of things either so I understand PETA. But this is going too far and giving them a truly bad name.

I'm not really a huge Lindsay fan, but that was really harsh. How the f*ck do they know it's not faux fur? And really, to those of you calling her names like dyke and lesbo, grow up. flour comes from wheat. wheat grows in fields. wheat must be harveted. animals live in these fields. hmmm wonder how many animals died for this flour. same goes for any VEGETARIAN staples.
