Madonna Confirmed To Attend A-Rod's Party
What do you do when you're in the middle of divorce rumors, and you're being accused of knocking boots with another woman's husband? Show up to his party of course!
A-Rod is hosting his All Star Party at Jay-Z's 40/40 nightclub this Monday, and according to a publicist for the event, Madonna is a confirmed guest! Other confirmed attendees include Beyonce, Jason Giambi, Jorge Posada, and David Ortiz.
Madonna and A-Rod have been surrounded by a firestorm of controversy over the past week, after A-rod's wife Cynthia filed for divorce on Monday, citing her husband's "extra marital affairs and other marital misconduct," as well as emotional abandonment. Cynthia's attorney Earle Lilly told Houston television station KTRK the baseball star's "relationship with Madonna was the final straw for Mrs. Rodriguez."
Rumors of an impending divorce between Madonna and hubby Guy Ritchie have been denied numerous times by her rep, even though Madonna had a meeting with Paul McCartney's powerhouse divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton just two weeks ago. It's pretty much common knowledge that Madonna and Rodriguez are an item, and new dirt has been surfacing every day since the news broke.
According to Us Weekly, A-Rod was going gaga for the material girl over six months ago. In January, A-Rod dined with a pal in Miami who told the magazine, "He kept smiling, acting as if he was a little kid. He told me it was Madonna. I was shocked." The slugger went on to say that he was in love with her and a month later, he eloquently told another pal, "She's my f*cking soulmate, dude." Ah, spoken like a true romantic.
Despite all the reports that these two have gone way past third base, Rodonna have continued to deny any romantic involvement with one another.
