I mean, really ... could Nick be any more of a puppy dog/servant to Mariah? But then, with cleavage so shiny and round, most men would do the same :)

Precious is nominated in three categories tonight, including the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Drama. If it wins, I hope Sapphire gets up there and takes some credit because that book was amazing!

Mariah Carey has finally spoken out about that hilariously tipsy acceptance speech she gave at the Palm Springs International Film Festival (which we've re-posted in its entirety above) where she won the "Breakthrough" award for her role as a mustachioed social worker in Precious.

Friday afternoon she tweeted:

Didn't realize they put the champagne on the tables, So we WOULDN'T drink it! LoL. No, seriously ANGEL CHAMPAGNE (ROSE) by MC coming soon!

Sorry Mariah, we just gotta ask ... are you "seriously" starting your own brand of champagne? Or were you tipsy when you wrote this, too?

Mariah Carey looked more than a little tipsy last night as she accepted her Breakthrough Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival for her role as a mustachioed social worker in Precious.

"I'm a little..." Mariah slurred after squealing her way up to the podium.

You've really got to watch the clip to get the full effect, but we gotta wonder, Mariah was told she was getting this award at least a month in advance, so why would she purposely booze it up before her big moment?

Mariah Carey took home the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Precious at the Hollywood International Film Festival in Capri. This is the singer/actress' first award for her unglamorous role in the film, although she's already set to receive the "Breakthrough" award at the Palm Springs film festival next month, and the entire cast is up for an ensemble SAG award.

So it's possible Mariah's moustache could win her more awards than her Glitter ever dreamed of!

And her pooch! No, we're not talking about Nick Cannon.

The two lovebirds are on vacay in Aspen for Christmas, but that doesn't mean MCC has to stop posing! Sidebar, that puppy is adorbs. Not as adorbs as Nick and Mariah, but still!

I'm not sure if it's because of the cold Aspen air biting at her cheeks or because there's a mini Mariah growing underneath her red jacket, but Ms. Carey was definitely glowing last night! We spotted the diva and her hubby Nick Cannon shopping in Aspen, and is it just me, or does she kinda look like she could be sporting a baby bump here? Or is it just a little extra padding?

Meanwhile, his wife Mariah Carey makes sure to stay hydrated!

The happy couple is in Aspen to ski - wait, does Mariah even know how to ski? - and it seems Nick wants to learn how to be a pap. Hey, it's not that easy!

Maybe he should just stick to what he does best... posing next to Mariah!

For me, the holiday season officially starts when I see Mariah Carey wearing innappropriate clothing/footwear in snowy Aspen.

And this year, although she kept the girls under cover (for now, anyway), she made up for it with this modeling 101 pose! HaaaaAAAAaaaay!

Luckily, the SAG nominated actress can afford a "handler" to ensure she doesn't slip in her 5-inch platform gold-toe fringe boots!

Mariah Carey will be honored with the breakthrough performance award for her role as a homely social worker in Precious at the 21st annual Palm Springs International Film Festival this January, reports THR.

Mariah has won acclaim for the role which required her to transform from music diva to mustached-matron in the film, which also boasts amazing performances from Mo'Nique and the movie's star, Gabourey Sidibe.

Although her performance was impressive, we can't help but wonder if they're giving this to her because it's so far from her hideous display in Glitter, or if she really deserves it?

I mean, really. When she's a little more covered up - and has the always snazzily-dressed Nick by her side - she looks good! Elegant, even?

But those tight-fitting clothes are too much for the eyes! She can't be that comfortable, either. I know black is slimming, but it's not THAT slimming...

Mariah Carey was photographed at the airport in Milan, and the songbird showed some leg as she strutted through the terminal. Of course, Mariah's hair and makeup is immaculate, but what about the outfit, hmmm?

First of all, it looks like she's wearing black socks underneath her brown shoes, and while it could be the style of the footwear, it's not a good way to start off a trip to the fashion capital of Italy. We have to give her some credit for matching her shades to her burgundy leather trench coat, but besides Daredevil, no one else should be wearing this much red leather.

Oh, and don't even get me started on the waist belt that looks like it was handcrafted from seatbelts and one of Scary Spice's old bustiers...

While many Hollywood couples can fizzle out within a matter of months, it looks like Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are the real deal!

We spotted husband and wife enjoying a night out in Beverly Hills, and even though Mariah looked fab, we can't help but notice how she's taken it down a few notches. Where are her trademark mini-dresses and frilly accessories? Has marriage tamed the diva?

Mariah's transformation from sexy diva to homely social worker in the new film, Precious, not surprisingly, was a painful one for the star.

"It wasn't just de-glamorized," Mariah told Us. "They added some hideousness on top of that too. I drank some ugly juice," she said.

And the film's star, Gabourey Sidibe, told the mag that Carey couldn't stand her hair and makeup for the film. "She hated her wardrobe! It was the funniest thing. Like the first day of school or something, where you're not wearing the right socks and the whole outfit's ruined."

But audiences didn't tune in for Carey's glamorized role in Glitter, and she's earning rave reviews for her dowdy turn in the film. Maybe she should let herself get hit by the ugly stick more often!

October 31st is the BEST day of the year! Why? Because you get to dress up like somebody else!

Hollywood actors are already used to that - after all, it's their job!

Mariah Carey was snapped leaving the Waverly Inn in NYC last night, and even though the pop diva was beaming, we're kinda cringing after taking a look at her outfit!

I know Mariah has gotten a little uh, curvier since she got married to boy toy Nick Cannon last year, but in this skintight getup, these lumps are more than just love handles...they're like love armrests! Maybe this extra padding is covering up a baby bump? Or is she going to pull an Eva Longoria?

There's a de-lish report on the NY Post that, at Nick Cannon's birthday party at the Bank in Las Vegas, wife Mariah Carey presented him with a special cake that said:

"Happy Birthday DJ Sex Fingers -- Love, M.C.C."

Dayum! TMI? Hey, at least we now know why Mariah keeps Nick around!

On Saturday night Mariah Carey had her final performance at The Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms in Las Vegas, and the diva nearly popped out of her sparkly gold dress! Not only did she bring a young male couple onstage for a surprise wedding proposal, but she also belted out a Happy Birthday tune to hubby Nick Cannon at The Bank nightclub, as it was his 29th birthday on Thursday...
