How about we all just NOT care? If he is a wife beater then shame on her for putting herself in a situation with someone who is violent. She seems happy to me and if she is ok with his past then let's all let it go and by "all" I mean everyone besides Mel considering she's his wife and has no problem with it. It seems like what he did in the past is an isolated incident and furthermore his ex-wife is has forgiven him so shouldn't all of us who have nothing to do with the situation do the same? I think those of us who have been fortunate enough to not have a man put his hands on us are so quick to judge simply because of something from his past. A LOT of people in this world make mistakes and just as many learn their lesson. Why don't we give him a chance and see where this goes, who knows maybe he'll surprise us and treat her wonderfully.

Eddie should be fighting for sole custody of his daughter. This man is violent and should not be around children. He has a history of violence against women and is wanted in New Jersey for crushing a baby duckling with a rock!

So what if he has no job and she pays for him in a future imaginary custody case. How many women don't have jobs? How many women live of their ex's? Making stupid demands.

And if his ex-wife has forgiven him maybe it's because he was pushed to it with HER constantly belittling him and pushing him.

Then she calls the police. Gives a sob story and he's arrested When she's been more violent throughout their relationship. Happens so often but women don't care or want to hear about it.

And blame the male victims because it never comes down to right or wrong but who's gender and who's got the biggest mouth and least grasp of the FULL facts. Empty can anyone?

She thought she'd get pregnant, they fall in love and get married and live happily-ever-after (you'd think she'd be over fairytales by now)...she's a woman who doesn't like to be alone and falls 'in love' quickly.
