The lovely and talented Australian-born actress Melissa George - who's worked with directors like David Lynch and starred in movies with Ryan Reynolds (The Amityville Horror) and Josh Hartnett (30 Days of Night) - was a bit overwhelmed with all the attention as she was leaving Nobu in Malibu this weekend.

Get used to it, Melissa... we're guessing your star power is only gonna get brighter and brighter!



Australia is the home to many stars - Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Eric Bana. Guess we can add Melissa to that list now!

This is one of those times when I know I don't understand what makes it in Hollywood anymore. She is neither talented nor pretty. She must either know someone special or she's married to someone special. Being a roller skating champ in Australia just should not be enough to get you anywhere in Hollywood.
