Janet Pays Tribute To Michael At The BET Awards

A teary Janet Jackson spoke to the world last night at the BET Awards in LA, saying:

    "I would just like to say that to you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family, and he will forever live in all of our hearts ... On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all your love; thank you for all your support. We miss him so much."

She also told the audience: "My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful so they elected me to speak with all of you."

Well, apparently it wasn't so painful for daddy Joe Jackson because he attended the awards show and basked in the spotlight, giving every media outlet who asked, an interview on the red carpet.

Here's what Joe told CNN:

Wow, somehow he seems to see his son only as a star. Just managing the fans and the business eh Joe? Your SON DIED BECAUSE YOU WERE A HORRIBLE FATHER... he drowned in drugs and despair because he never reovered from YOUR ABUSE! You taught him fear and loathing.

A good FATHER teaches their children love, support, hope and a belief in a higher power.

Joe Jackson is horrible and needs to keep his mouth shut. I don't understand why his family doesn't do something about him...forbid him to speak or go anywhere near a camera for at least a few months. I also hope MJs siblings watch over Mrs. Jackson if she gets permanent custody of the children to be sure Joe doesn't physically or emotionally hurt them like he did to his own kids.
