After reading the Daily Mail story for myself and having confirmed on CNN I am glad to hear that it is true.

But is truly low for BOTH Latoya and Joe to not give the money they make towards the kids (yet the kids are more well off now then Latoya/Joe) or one of MJ's charities he would give money to.

At least with Latoya's interview she's getting the word out of what she saw days after MJ's death and her thoughts of the situation. Without Michael Jackson, this family melts back into what they are - a footnote of the past to what was (his) considerable talent. They will hold on to those kids, like a life-raft on a choppy sea because those kids = Income!

At least everyone agrees (for the moment, at least) that Michael Jackson IS actually dead. Otherwise, I'm afraid this generation, and perhaps the next, would be in for 30+ years of Elvis-type, Michael Jackson sightings!

The circumstances surrounding the death, the claims now of murder and foul-play, who might be responsible, and the drama the family creates surrounding the final resting place is all they have left, (+ the children) to keep them relevant. And, sadly, well paid.

For the record, I don't believe for a moment that Michael Jackson was a child molester. I think he is only guilty of Bizarre behavior meant to sustain a presence or to revived a career and fame that waned more quickly than the income he required to maintain his, "King of Pop" icon status.

I believe the man was as good a father to his children as someone could be, given the medications he was given? taking?, and his eccentric nature and habits.

But I also believe that had these three children not been purchased and cared for by Michael Jackson, that any other person raising kids under the influence of those drugs and the schedule that man kept, would have been denied a legal adoption and/or lost custody of them in a nanosecond.

considering the circumstances michael should not be put back in neverland and especially if he felt that way about the place after all that happened. it would be cruel to do that to him. turning the place into some sort of attraction but without michael might not be a bad idea. but after what's happened it has kind of tarnished the place unfortunately as he had turned it into such a beautiful place. its a shame to let it go. i'd hate to be the one making the decisions on this.
