Randy Jackson Slams Media Coverage Of MJ's Funeral

randymedia.jpg

Here's the situation...

Randy Jackson has criticized the media in a statement, arguing that his family has asked the press to give them "one moment of privacy to mourn as a family out of the public spotlight." But instead, he claims a helicopter with a camera "severely disrupted" the funeral.

"I was dismayed at the coverage I saw on television of our ceremony for Michael," says Randy.

Hmm, but didn't they invite the camera in? The live feed was from a cam inside the room!

Do you agree with him?

Randy is SO full of crap....the ONLY reason he (and any others involved) are ticked-off that a bit of filming was shown, is because the family wants it shown exclusively on their upcoming "reality" series.

Hey Randy did you want to show it on your own reality show..how else could
they cameras get that close up to all
of you..The stations got the signal from
your own camera crews...so what if we get to see it first before you want to
have people pay or on your own reality
show..so where is the open casket of course not...

what Randy ment was that they had the camera inside to film what they had approved. but when they turned of that camera, they wanted the rest of the funeral to private. therefore he's upset that the helicopters flew over Forest Lawn and interrupted the private part of the funeral. Got it?! I totally respect(ed) that and it's a shame that the rest of the world didn't...

The whole charade of MJ was over along time ago. Glad that sick family finally
buried a body that should have been in the ground 2 months ago. OVER!!!!

So why didn't they have it inside? They are so full of it and I am tired of all of the coverage enough already. He is buried,so stop showing it.

The Jacksons will say and do anything to stay in the limelight. Michael is gone and they are still using him for their popularity. Sad, so sad!

@12:44pm:totally agree with ya....those who tried to corner it into something sensational ought to be ashamed of themselves...they wanted it to be private and tried to be gracious to the fans and non-fans by allowing certain amount of feed from the inside camera....can't you just respect that...by not trying to condemn any of the family's statements and all....if u not happy and think they are doing it for their relevance in the media..then stop covering about them.....who's the hypocrite?

It seems to me that everyone in MJ's family LOVES this attention with perhaps the exception of his mother and children. Joe probably scheduled the stupid helicopter. He hasn't stopped smirking throughout this entire ordeal.

The Jackson's need to get over themselves. Reality check! Michael was the one who was the famous entertainer in the family. It is very obvious now why Michael detached himself from their "needy" ways. He must have surely felt suffocated with their constant need for his financial support and attention.
Michael was the greatest but, let's face it.....you play with fire and sooner or later you get burned. No more stress MJ, you're finally free.
