Well the 911 call confired twice MJ was on the BED! CPR must be performed on a hard surface to be effective. One thing could have changed the outcome; NARCAN! Ya don't push CNS and respiratory depressants without it being close by.
The doctor present should have been in the ambulance. If he failed to tell the medics about the demerol, they may not have considered using Narcan.

Not breathing, not responding and no heartbeat is not being uncounscious. It's being dead. I find it crazy that it's being called uncounscious. Every paramedic knows the damage is done when this "uncounsciousness" lasts for longer than a couple of minutes. So by the time the call was made and the ambulance arrived AND they left, MJ was already dead for a while.

My mom woke to my Dad who had just had a heart in bed next to her. She tried CPR on him after she calling 911. When the medics came she said they were very nice and tried to resuscitate him in the bed room with the door closed. To this day she will say that they pretended for her sake. They had her call a family member to meet her at the hospital, and took him there by ambulance. She new he was dead because his tongue was already swolen in his mouth, but they pretended their was still hope. I think with 3 children in the house this was the most humane act the Doctor and medics could have performed. Get the body out of the house, give some small ray of hope, as loved ones try to grasp the reality of what is happening.

Of course how silly they were driving the ambulance with people inside so slowly! He got into Hospital inbetween 5 minutes so they did the best they could! Don't blame them!

Backing out as slowly as they did and the fact that there WERE NO SIRENS on as they drove away- proof positive he was dead but it was reported Dr COnrad did nto want to sign the death certificate, didnt want his name all over that and insisted they go to the Hospital. he was DROP DEAD FRED already

As an EMT- I can tell you that there are several reasons why that ambulance was moving so slowly.
1. If they were able to get any rhythm at all - they would have to stop the ambulance to shock him. You cannot shock on a moving rig.
2.Even if he was already dead - you cannot call a death in the feild as a paramedic - only a doctor can declare death -so they take them in to do this.
3. Sometimes even when people are obviously dead - we would work the patient and take them in regardless - mainly to help the family know that we did all we could possibly do.

So who knows if he was really dead? He didn't have signs of Dependant Lividity (blood pooling in the back) so at least the call was made quickly enough.
I do think there is something very wrong with a "Doctor" doing CPR on a bed. Everyone with any medical knowledge knows that the first thing you do it move them to firm surface.

Here’s my 2 cents:

A ‘competent’ MD would have known effective chest compression requires a hard surface such as a backer board (if available) or the floor. TMZ reports Demerol (a strong narcotic) was administered intravenously prior to cardiac arrest. TMZ did not identify who administered the daily injections (probably for legal reasons). However, a ‘competent’ MD would have known to immediately administer Narcan (a narcotic antagonist). In 4-6 weeks we’ll learn the results of the toxicology report. In my opinion, if he administered a lethal dose of narcotic, did not administer Narcan, did not properly perform CPR or delayed transport to a hospital - his license should be revoked and he should face criminal charges.

TMZ reported the daily injection of Demerol was administered at 11:30 AM. The 911 call was logged at 12:21 PM. If these times are accurate, 51 minutes elapsed before the paramedics were dispatched. TMZ also reported the paramedics asked the MD to call time of death at the house. He refused. UCLA doctors attempted resuscitation for more than an hour. What information was given to UCLA when he was admitted? If cardiac arrest occurred at 11:30 AM - he was DOA.

I was a medic for 11 years and trust me any Dr. who is performing CPR on a bed needs his medical license yanked. As for why the ambulance was moving slowly there could be a number of reasons.The medic could have been re-checking the placement of the tube or shocking(not likely sounds like he was in asystole)or pushing meds.There is a medic trying to balance him/herself in the back of a moving unit while trying to perform many tasks and CPR so you can't just take off like a bat out of hell that is only in the movies.Safety for all the gawking bystanders and paps is probably another reason. Lay off the medics. They bust their ass every day to save others....We get yelled at for taking so long to arrive on scene nevermind that on the way there was 10 or so cars that wouldn't yeild to the emergency vehicle or when we get to their street(if there is even a street sign) there are no house numbers on the house or the mailbox.We aren't psychic.

I agree..I'm A EMT and trust me you try to perform life saving techniques while being thrown all over the place. It isn't easy. Between balancing yourself, to getting the meds out of the package and into the patient to trying to read the EKG monitor, attaching the Bag Valve Mask to the oxygen..you need to move slow at first.

So, it gets more interesting according to the wire reports. Fox alone has side-by-side stories of June 28th (evening), one commenting MJ's son witnessed the collapse in the LIVING ROOM...then having to watch the resus....in the BEDROOM? Now that's an inconsistency! So, MJ collapses to the floor not in classic VF or asystole but from respiratory arrest? And then has a pulse in the BEDROOM but is still in respiratory arrest? Don't think so, or that was one firm mattress!! MJ would have been better served by a live in EMT-P with an AED! And really, when was the last time you saw a cardiologist actually performing the mechanical functions of an arrest...it's auto-pilot by the team! No wonder this guy wasn't prepared or equipped....he always relied on someone else to do it! Sadly, it could be just a vessel rupture(s), occurring some time after his workout Wed night (he complained of "not feeling well"...we've all heard that too many times) which is more consistent with a "collapse" and calling it at the scene. Given the knowledge of prescription use, no coroner is going to issue a cause of death until a tox is in, regardless of other findings including cardiac which might be known, but just not reported yet.

We will probably never know exactly what happened.The Jackson family has enough money to keep what ever they don't want known quiet.It is still the same outcome though.Dead is dead.

I like to look at facts before I judge. I see a face that has brown tint with patches of lighter skin. Even his shoulders are light brown. They said Micheals skin was as white as a T-shirt.If you look at his latest pictures you can see his skin is white. I think this photo may have been from when he was younger. How much can we trust what people put on the internet. If it doesn' make sense it doesn't make sense. I will keep searching for clues. I saw a photo of what looked like Michael Jackson sitting behind Jessie Jackson at the Michael Jackson Memorial and there was no doubt in my mind that it was Michael Jackson. Is his ghost here. I also saw someone l who looked like Michael Jackson dressed in a black mask over his mouth and sunglasses while they were filming people outside the Staples Center a day or two before the Memorial. I snapped a photo of his face with my cell phone camera.
