Ok, wiretapping is when a third party (law enforcement, government, criminals, ect.) records calls or information without knowledge of either party. Recording your own phone calls without the knowledge or permission of the other party is not wiretapping. It is legal, unless it is used for illegal purposes. It may not be moral or ethical, but it is legal. Lindsay and her few enablers will have to find another method of attack so that she can continue to fight for her right to party herself into the ground. The Lohans will still find other ways to attack each other in the mean time. Sit back and watch the show, as it will only get bloodier from here on out.

Laws vary from state to state. Perhaps you live in a crazy state where this is allowed.

HOWEVER, in California it is VERY VERY ILLEGAL to record a phone conversation without the other person's knowledge and consent. It is also an invasion of privacy to play it for people and post in on the internet.

Post the specifics of the law then. You would also have to prove it took place in California. Good luck with that.

I understand that what her father has done is a complete breach of trust not to mention humiliating and unforgivable. However, it seems to me that the only Lohan that has highlighted the sad truths in Lindsay's life is Michael Lohan. She HAS squandered her career; she was given an opportunity that so many others would literally die for, and it's gone, due to her own irresponsible actions. Does she need help for abusing drugs? I don't know, but it does seem she needs help, period.
