It's no suprise that Heath's mini-me, Matilda, is looking more and more like her dad everyday, but what about mom Michelle?

We know Michelle's got sisters, but that woman is Michelle in a dark-haired wig!

Doting mom Michelle Williams was out and about with little Matilda doing some last minute Halloween shopping in New York yesterday.

I'm sure Matilda's already got a costume ready to go for tonight's Trick-or-Treating, but if not, can we suggest that she and her mom Michelle go as a couple of M&M's?

It's hard not to admire Michelle Williams, especially considering all she's been through. The lovely actress graces the October issue of Vogue, in which she discusses her career, daughter Matilda and, of course, Heath Ledger.

Michelle explains that, after Heath's death, she "didn’t know if I could keep it all together. After the first year, the pain is less intense - it’s less immediate. But the magical thinking goes away too. And that’s a whole new reckoning."

She goes on to say the following: "I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain," but later decides that "it just makes things more complicated." (Michelle is no longer dating director Spike Jonze.)

And what about her and Heath's daughter? "Every time I really miss him, I just look at her."

So sweet.

The beautiful and beaming Michelle Williams joined Mariah & Nick as well as a slew of other mostly NY celebs to support the Fresh Air Fund Salute to American Heroes in Central Park yesterday.

Mariah looked like, well, Mariah in a long white gown with cut-outs that bared a bit of skin on her side, but we just can't get over how fresh and lovely Michelle looks in her short ivory frock! A little stiff, but still spectacular!

Always nice to see Michelle and Matilda out and about! The mom and daughter hit the streets of Brooklyn Saturday afternoon, with little M riding a pink scooter and wearing a matching pink helmet! What else is there to say? Loves these two.

This little girl just looks more adorable every time we see her! And that umbrella? So fetch!

What can we say? The girl - daughter of Michelle Williams and the late Heath Ledger - is simply adorable. Hmm, does she look more like mom or dad?

Michelle Williams got emotional when discussing her ex for the first time during an interview with Newsweek magazine.

"I just wake up each day in a slightly different place—grief is like a moving river, so that's what I mean by 'it's always changing'," she told the mag.

In Michelle's case, the grief has definitely not lessened with time. "It's a strange thing to say, because I'm at heart an optimistic person, but I would say in some ways it just gets worse. It's just that the more time that passes, the more you miss someone. In some ways it gets worse. That's what I would say."

Michelle also goes on to say that the constant attention on her personal life may be too much for her to handle. "If it gets to the point where I can't situate my life in a way that they stay away more, then I'll drop a match on the thing," she said. "I'll be sad. I like to act. It's saved my life over and over again. It's given me a sense of self-esteem, self-worth. I have this thing that I'm in love with—acting—and now it has this baggage."

Luckily, it hasn't gotten to that point yet. Michelle's got seven new films out or coming soon!

For the first time since Heath Ledger's death, the beautiful and talented young actress graced the red carpet in a vintage Chanel dress (she has two films showing at the festival - Wendy and Lucy and Charlie Kaufman's Synecdoche, New York). Simply stunning!

Also in attendance was Benicio Del Toro (who took home the Cannes Best Actor award this year for playing Che in the Steven Soderbergh film) at a showing for What Just Happened? - personally, we're more excited to see him play The Wolf Man!

Us is reporting that a forlorn Michelle Williams arrived in Australia with her daughter Matilda to lay Heath Ledger to rest.

Williams kept her profile as low as possible upon deplaning, quickly carrying Matilda (and Matilda's prized stuffed bunny) out of the airport.

Williams refused to comment to reporters about the plans for Ledger's funeral.

Drugs may not have played a role in Heath Ledger's untimely demise - but it's starting to sound like they played a frighteningly huge one during his life!

Us Magazine is reporting that back in 2006, Ledger's fiancee Michelle Williams actually drove the troubled actor to the famous Promises rehab center - only for Heath to refuse to be admitted once they arrived!

A source close to the story told the magazine that Williams had borne witness to Ledger partaking in all sorts of druggy delights, "including cocaine, heroin and "a variety of pills."

Of course, when confronted with the check-in desk at Promises, Heath suddenly seemed capable of stopping, swearing to Michelle that he'd clean up his act.

Apparently, even Heath's young daughter Matilda - then only five months old - couldn't curb his appetite for destruction.

Maybe that's why, when the couple split up in 2007, Michelle demanded that Heath be drug-tested before his visits with Matilda!

We expected poor Michelle Williams to be rocked by the loss of Heath Ledger - but it sounds like the actress may need even more time to recover than we thought!

People is reporting that plans for filming Blue Valentine, Williams' next movie, have been suspended while she copes with Heath's death.

"We will hold off until she is ready," a source connected with the film told the mag. "The production is in the process of sorting it out in respect to her."

Production, originally set to start on February 25th, has been pushed back indefinitely.

"We're hoping she will still come back and do the film and are happy to wait," the source says. "The film is tailor made for [Williams and co-star Ryan Gosling] so of course we would want to wait. You can't get much better than them."

Poor Michelle - we'd hate to hurry along her grieving process, but we sincerely hope she's able to come back from this tragedy sooner rather than later!

After hearing the devastating news of Heath's passing, Michelle William's mom Carla and her best friend, actress Busy Phillips (who is also Matilda's godmother), rushed to Michelle's Brooklyn home in anticipation of Michelle and Matilda's arrival from a film shoot in Sweden early Wednesday morning.

Michelle's mom is visibly upset as photogs offer their condolences.

It's nice to know that during this difficult time, Michelle and Matilda are surrounded by friends and loved ones.

The news of Heath Ledger's unexpected death is very, very upsetting. He was a fantastic actor, known for his work in films like Brokeback Mountain and the upcoming The Dark Knight.
