We already told you about the bus crash that killed a member of Miley Cyrus' tour crew earlier this morning, and now Miley and her family have spoken out about the fatal accident.

The following message was posted on Miley's official website:

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill “Uncle Bill” Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed.”

According to a press release, Virginia State Police are still investigating the crash that occurred just after 8AM this morning. The statement reads:

"The bus was traveling in the southbound lanes of I-85 when it ran off the left side of the road and overturned onto its right side. The nine passengers on the bus were able to exit the vehicle through the front windshield. The driver of the bus, William G. Douglas, 53, of Austin, Texas, died at the scene.

Marty Zilio, 48, of Canada, was injured in the crash. Zilio was transported by ambulance to Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg for treatment of minor injuries.

The bus belongs to Roberts Brothers Coach Co. and was hired for the Miley Cyrus tour. Those riding on the bus are part of her production crew. It was one of four buses traveling south on I-85 to Greensboro, N.C. Cyrus was not on the bus, nor traveling with the group at the time of the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time."

Miley Cyrus' tour bus overturned when it drifted off Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie, Virginia this morning, and Virginia State Police are reporting that one person was killed in the crash.

Cyrus was NOT on board at the time, and The Associated Press reports that one of the other nine passengers had minor injuries, but police would not identify those aboard.

Sgt. Thomas Molnar says the bus overturned around 8:15AM this morning on Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie, about 40 miles south of Richmond.

Our hearts go out to the family of the victim.

And we kinda love it! This actually looks like a decent movie. A heartwarming coming-of-age family flick, but a good movie nonetheless!

While the rest of us were drooling over photos of Robstener at the LA premiere of New Moon, Miley Cyrus was busy telling Cleveland radio station Q92 that "I don't want anything to do with it!"

When an interviewer asked her what she thought of the Twilight mania, Cyrus responded, "I've never seen it and nor will I ever." Cyrus continued, "I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires. ... I don't like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I'm watching my TV at night. I don't like it. I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts. I don't like any of it," the popstar said emphatically.

Harsh words considering she's set to work with Twilight's producers on a new fantasy film called Wings, which is somewhat like Twilight, but with fairies!

But I bet the Twilovers aren't too put off by Miley's comments. It's not like they've ever seen an episode of Hannah Montana either!

Disney sweet-tart Miley Cyrus sang "The Climb" to a little girl at the Concert for Hope last night at the Staples Center in LA. (Last year's concert raised more than $1.2 mil for City of Hope's cancer research.)

Miley Cyrus was spotted on the NYC set of the Sex and the City sequel yesterday, and it looks like the Disney sweet-tart might play herself. The singer was shooting a scene at a movie theater for a premiere, and wearing the same dress as Samantha...

OMG, that collar!

I'm excited Miley will be in it. After all, she's a big fan of the show. But isn't the crossover from Disney flicks to, um, adult sex comedies a little bit of a stretch?

Miley may have deleted her Twitter account, but that hasn't stopped her from blogging, she's just using a different venue. One which that requires a credit card for access!

On her MileyCyrus.com, and re-printed on MileyWorld.com (the one that requires a paid membership) websites, Miley wrote:

To my dearest fans,

You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you & I really felt like during that time we became very much like friends. Twitter is a beautiful thing if used for the right reason. I love my job so much that it is hard to believe sometimes that it is considered "working. But, in the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a "normal" life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don't seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault. How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing? Some things in my life need to say in my life only and not on some gossip site. I never want any of my fans to feel like I don't love them or care about them BUT, sharing the same love and respect for me I need to have the space to grow as a person and make some mistakes. I need to be able to live and learn in private. I never want to quit entertaining it is my life, my love, and my passion but I can't have my personal life be other peoples entertainment.

Twitter is not the only thing I am cutting back on. This is not an attack against this particular site, I just think kids all over the world could maybe take a little vacation from Cyberspace. My problem with the internet is it makes negativity so available. It allows people to anonymously hurt others without any consequences. That is not the real world. Not only that, but if we spent more time enjoying what we are doing besides tweeting about it, we would enjoy our lives a whole lot more. I have very little free time and the moments that I do have I should be spending with my family and friends and loving every minute of their company.

Now of course rumors have been started that Liam is the reason that I deleted my twitter. I hope my true fans know how stupid that is. I had mentioned to him that someone made a fake twitter with his name and we both starting chatting about how ridiculous it is. Liam is a wonderful friend and he did not try to make me delete my page, he just helped me realize how much time I was wasting on that site.

I really hope you all know how much you mean to me and how much I truly care about each and every one of you. I will keep in touch through Mileyworld and MileyCyrus.com as I did before twitter. I love you all.

It's great that she wants to "take a break" from cyberspace BUT considering she just wrote a novel about it and then posted another blog after that, doesn't it kind of seem like she's really just wanting to "take a break" from free blogging in order to drive fans to her pay site?

And you know what? Not only is Miley's flow halfway decent, but it totally makes sense!

As you may already know, little miss Hannah Montana deleted her Twitter account the other day after tweeting, "Liam [Hemsworth] doesn't have a Twitter and he wants me to delete mine with good reason," and now she's explaining to her fans just why she's done with website.

Maybe Dane Cook, Britney and Katy Perry can change her mind? We're not giving up on her just yet!

We were stunned when Miley deleted her Twitter account the other day, and it looks like Billy Ray misses her tweets too! Miley's pops wrote on his official Twitter account:

Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born "Destiny Hope Cyrus" for a reason. You can't leave everyone now. We r countin on u ... I understand "it is true one bad apple spoils the bunch". But listen to the words of your songs "Stand... for what ya believe in"...Remember? ... Words can hurt worse than bullets True. All the more reason to take this tool and tweet ...

It's like the end of an era!

Apparently, the Disney sweet-tart has deleted her Twitter account. How do we know? Uh, because it's gone! So why'd she do it? This was her last Tweet:

"FYI Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason."

Say what! Obvs she's referring to new boyfriend - and The Last Song co-star - Liam Hemsworth. We last spotted them out together about a month ago at the movies...

Aww, looks like that case of strep throat has gotten the better of little miss Miley Cyrus.

The pop tart has pulled out of her Omaha, Nebraska concert on Friday, "due to illness," it was announced today. Miley has been tweeting about how miserable she is, and she even ran off the stage when she performed in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, so it looks like she's getting the rest she needs to recuperate.

So what's she up to right now? Her family has been taking care of her, and Miley just tweeted a few minutes ago that she's "laying in bed watching The Little Mermaid." Sounds like a plan to us!

The Omaha concert has been rescheduled for October 13.

Aww, poor girl!

She's only two weeks into her Wonder World tour, and she's already encountering some technical difficulties!

Last night Miley Cyrus performed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and in the middle of singing "7 Things," the Disney princess ran off stage! Hours before the show Miley tweeted, "Think I'm gonna take one more nap before the BIG show here in SLC. My throat is yelling at me to SHUT UP. Strep is the worst thing ever."

Miley reclaimed the mic about 15 minutes later, but it sounds like she's still unsure about her show in Omaha later this week. Miley posted the following message earlier today, "Keep your fingers crossed Omaha. I am not feeling to [sic] good this morning....Back to sleep. Night night."

Feel better Hannah Montana!

Hmm, but is this good news or bad news?

A Miley source tells J-14 that The Last Song, originally scheduled to come out in January 2010, will now be released in April 2010.

Uh, this is NOT a bad sign! They always put the worst movies in January, so holding off on the premiere date to a better month is a positive thing.

Maybe The Last Song will make Miley a genuine movie star!

Yesterday afternoon we caught our favorite Disney princess hopping in the passenger seat of her friend's ride, and the 16-year-old superstar was all smiles as photogs snapped away. It's hard to believe that someone so young is a) so incredibly rich b) so talented and c) has such a good handle on her fame and idol status. I mean, how could you not be on Team Miley?

Johnny Depp wasn't the only one there!

Miley Cyrus headed to Anaheim to perform her latest hit "The Climb" at Disney's D23 Expo, and she mingled with all sorts Hollywood players like Jerry Bruckheimer and Nicolas Cage. Just imagine who she'll be hanging out with when she's in her twenties!
