"I Kissed A Girl" singer Katy Perry said in a recent interview that she was hoping to kiss Miley Cyrus onstage at this Sunday's Teen Choice Awards, but it looks like it's a no go. Miley told E! News "No thanks," when asked if she'd participate. The 15-year-old popster added, "She sang on my record. So I think she's kind of getting back at me, because she was doing harmonies and backgrounds." Who would turn down a kiss with Katy Perry!? Miley is a bit young, but she's certainly had her fair share of controversy this year - first the racy photos of her allegedly playing peek a boo with her shirt, then the topless Vanity Fair photoshoot, and most recently that not-so-nice YouTube "parody" vid.
Anyway, Miley has been busy promoting her new album, Breakout, which is currently the number one album in the country. According to Reuters, the Disney star's album sold 371,000 copies in the week ending July 27, which is the second-largest debut for a female artist this year, behind Mariah Carey's E=MC2 release in April which sold 463,000 copies. Take that Demi and Selena!
