Yesterday Mischa Barton was spotted going for a stroll in NYC, and we would feel bad for her, but it was 100% her choice to free boob it. Should she be allowed to do this? I mean, would she even pass the pencil test?

Let me start off this post by saying Mischa Barton is NOT fat. But what she is, is surprisingly wide for such a skinny girl!

Here she is walking to the set of The Beautiful Life in NY, where she plays a super-model whose career is heading into a downward spiral.

Sure, she's got a model face, but that is not a model body...would that make her a Butterbody?

Girlfriend better watch her back! Sara Paxton is the hotter, younger star of The Beautiful Life and we can't help but wonder: Will there be a cat fight between her and Mischa Barton off-screen as well as on?

One can only hope! What a knockout, right? Especially in comparison to M's disastrous dress from yesterday...

Is it wrong that I'm still rooting for this troubled actress to turn things around? I know, I know!

Mischa Barton may have recently left the psych ward, but she quickly bounced back to work on The Beautiful Life and it seems like things have returned to normal. Though she has been wearing some slightly questionable outfits lately, that doesn't mean she's crazy...after all, she's always had a screw loose when it comes to her fashion choices, right?

Mischa Barton was photographed leaving the Cooper Square Hotel in NYC last night, and not only did she show off her new brunette locks, but it looks like she was in the mood to show us some skin too! This dress kinda looks like it came from the Frederick's of Hollywood clearance bin, but Mischa does like pretty decent right? I mean, all things considered...

But uh, what was she doing out partying? Didn't she just get released from the psych ward less than a week ago? And even if she wasn't drinking, is going out on the town the right move for the troubled starlet?

P.S. What's that stain on Mischa's tush? Fergie style accident or did she spill her beverage?

Just two weeks after being thrown in the psych ward at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Mischa Barton is back to work!

We caught the actress leaving the Kaufman Astoria Studios in New York after her first shoot for The Beautiful Life, and considering what she's been through, she's looking pretty good, right?

But is Mischa really ready to get back into the swing of things this fast? You'd think she'd want to lay low for a while...

But will the show go on with or without her?

Mischa Barton's rep Craig Schneider released a statement confirming that his client has been released from the hospital with the "intention to resume production" (of The Beautiful Life). The show starts shooting this Friday, July 31st.

Hmm, glad Mischa is out and all, but is she really ready to go back to work? And what was "wrong" with her anyway! So many secrets...

Think she'll be back to living "the beautiful life" anytime soon?

Kutcher spoke about Mischa Barton at a technology conference in Pasadena and claims the actress is "doing great" and will soon head to NYC shoot the CW's The Beautiful Life, which he created. Hmm, but will she make it by July 31st? I find it hard to believe she's made such a fast recovery!

Though Mischa Barton remains in the psych ward at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, her rep has told Access Hollywood that the troubled starlet is "still seeking treatment but making improvements" and she plans to return to work soon.

Spokesman Craig Schneider would not elaborate on Barton’s current condition, but he said yesterday that the actress planned to report to work on her CW show The Beautiful Life later this month. Barton stars as a pill-popping supermodel on the new series (hmm, method acting anyone?), and a rep for the show has revealed that production is scheduled to begin on July 31, but it looks like they've already begun preparations to write Mischa's character out if her situation doesn't improve.

Hopefully Ms. Barton will get her messy life back together, because we'd love to see her return to the small screen on The Beautiful Life!

Mischa Barton won't be completely replaced on her TV show, but Entertainment Weekly reveals that producers for The Beautiful Life "are quietly readying a Plan B in light of the former O.C. actress' current medical woes."

The plan would bring on a new female character to fill the spot left by Mischa, which would make it possible to bring her character back, but also possible to write her out if her personal situation worsens. Though the role is not a direct recast, the new character would bear a "striking resemblance to Barton's experienced supermodel, Sonja Stone."

Casting is underway, and production will resume next week for a September 16 launch.

Think Mischa will make it back? Or did she blow it?

Rachel Bilson refused to comment on her former co-star's recent hospitalization when we caught the O.C. cutie out in LA.

Now, although Summer and Marissa may have been the best of friends in the O.C., Rachel and Mischa's lives in LA have taken dramatically different paths, so it's possible she's no longer in touch with the troubled actress. But wouldn't an O.C. reunion be great for us...and maybe even good for Mischa?

As you know, on Wednesday night police showed up to Mischa Barton's Hollywood home to assist the actress with a “medical issue,” and shortly thereafter she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold (aka a 5150). Under a 5150, authorities can hold a person involuntarily if they present a danger to themselves or others, are gravely disabled or suffer from a mental disorder.

So what happened to the former it girl? Sources close to the actress are speaking out about how her hard partying lifestyle may have played a role in her current state, and it appears as though Ms. Barton may need another trip to rehab...

A source tells Star, "Mischa is so unhealthy and out of control. She’ll down anything - wine, beer, vodka - whatever she can get her hands on! Most nights she’s getting smashed until 2 or 3am. It’s sad." Another friend tells the mag, "She's partying nonstop, and it's ruining every aspect of her life. Her health, relationships and career are all going to hell. She's a train wreck, and everyone sees it." An insider for People seems to agree. "She has been dealing with a lot of personal issues. I don't know if she really ever gave up some of the bad habits that had gotten out of control a couple years back."

When Mischa stepped out in Los Angeles last week, her face appeared very bloated, but her reps blamed the puffiness on the removal of a wisdom tooth. While that seems like a legit excuse, her weight has fluctuated so much over the past 8-12 months, we don't really know what to believe! This time last year, Mischa seemed like she was at a relatively healthy weight, but in January, she debuted her new scary skinny frame in France, causing various media outlets to speculate that she had an eating disorder and/or a drug problem. We know a lot of starlets go up and down on the scale (paging Hilary Duff!) but Mischa's dramatic transformation certainly alarmed a lot of people.

Mischa Barton was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold (aka a 5150) by the Los Angeles Police Department, and she was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, reports Access Hollywood!

Last night authorities showed up at Mischa's Hollywood home after receiving a call from her residence around 3pm. A patrol car responded to the scene and began assisting the actress with a “medical issue,” according spokesperson for the LAPD.

As you may remember from the Britney days, under a 5150, authorities can hold a person involuntarily if they present a danger to themselves or others, are gravely disabled or suffer from a mental disorder.

When asked about Mischa, an LAPD spokesperson would not comment, but they admitted to Access that with any person held under a 5150, authorities are prohibited from disclosing the information due to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) laws.

What's going on here?! Was Mischa merely having a rough day and acting overly dramatic, or is there something really wrong here?

Poor Mischa. After she left The O.C., the actress didn't become the film star she had hoped to be. There has been a string of rocky relationships and a mugshot, though!

Now the 23-year-old has gotten into more trouble, or so it seems. Cops came to Mischa's WeHo home on Wednesday afternoon for an unknown "medical issue." (Hmm, but we were there and no EMT showed up... so how could it be "medical?")

A LAPD spokesperson has said that they're "currently assisting" her with the problem.

With a new show coming out on the CW this fall, The Beautiful Life, you'd think Mischa'd be trying to get her beauty sleep, but the former O.C.er spent the night partying at Bar 1200 instead.

Oh well, looking at the promos for her new show, it looks like Mischa cleans up pretty good!
