I've GOT to find someone who can explain this "Twilight" thing to me. What's the draw? This Pattison guy is pasty, out of shape, dirty looking, smokes and walks around with an expression reminiscent of someone brain damaged. The trailer shows not EXACTLY the same as the book (the scene in the meadow where Laurent was about to kill Bella. It must be, i think, FIVE werewolves appeared to save her and not that Jacob appeared as human an then turned to a werewolf. In addition, that was smaller than how Stephenie desribed the werewolf.)
I know you need to mimimize and delete some of scenes but why do you have to change them, too? You can delete/minimize some scenes but you MUST not change what was written in the book. I hope Stephenie won't get mad. :(
Well all i can say is it looks great! Edward is hot! and so is jacob. I think Kristen (bella) should have more emotions she looks dead half the time. But I cant wait!!!! :D

the scenery when edward leaves bella could have been more...misty. like the 'i know what you are' scene in the first film. and the werewolves yeah there were more than just jacob. and the werewolf (jacob) looks like a small ish dog/fox. i like the book better.

the books are good.. the movies dont do the characters justice.. especially bella and edward.. bella's a lot cooler in the books.. she jokes around and she's funny.. im not a fan of jacob so sitting through his scene's will be though.. i'm looking forward to the whole italy scene.. and i LOVE the eyebrow thing bella does when she says kiss me.. i think people need to get of kristen's case too.. she funny and awkward! she's awesome in Adventureland!! funny movie!!
TO PUBLIUS TO EXPLAIN .... if you read the books you will realize there is a lot more to it. emotions, imagination, ect. plus just the story itself. no matter how old you are 15, 23, 42, the book still makes scence because it doesnt just stay teenie it grows from high school,fist love, friendship, engagement to marriage, to having your first baby and also the plans of forever! we all are somewhere among those points now and or have been there before.so to summarize that is what it is that DRAWS people.
I also think rob really does understand his character. You can see in his face when he acts around bella. They are all good actors. I love bellas charater in the book, Kristen is good at playing her but i dunno she needs more expressions. love itt! great movie!!

I admit that I DON'T Love this trailer. KS and RP seem stiff and awkward. The best part of it was the CGI at the end when Jacob "popped" into the wolf.
You know... I believe in everyone being able to state their own opinion. But I don't like it when people shove it down my throat. I am a big fan of the books. But they could have done better with the movies. The second director said he would make New Moon as much like the book as possible and I already see a scene in the trailer that's different.
Anyway... I understand some people don't like Twilight in any form. That's fine with me. I'm not going to go around commenting on slapping someone just because they don't like it.

Well, I thought the trailer was ok, and I just want to say there will never be an exact book to movie movie. And Stephanie Myer doesn't give a shit because she is getting paid no matter what, plus the more people to go see the movies and buy them, she gets money for it because it is book-based. And because it is based it means they can change all they want because it is based, if they wanted they could keep the vampire thing and change the entire story line. Sad but true.
Not to mention that they need to cut out a lot from the movie that was in the book because of length, not all directors will try to fit more book in by making two movies for one book, for any that didn't know, that's what is happening for the last Harry Potter.
And yes, the books are better, but that is always the case, and people should just be used to that.
Rob= not hot, the only perk is that he doesn't look as constipated in this trailer than what he did in all of Twilight, if you watch it again, then watch, most the time he needs to show emotion he looks weird and constipated.
Kristen= me not a fan, and so not who I saw playing that role for what the book had described Bella as, and they will have a lot of work ahead of them for the forth book, just saying.
And just stating, yes, vampires used to be cool, but it used to also be that if you liked vampires you were a loser. Times change, get over it.
So yes, I like Twilight, but I'm not obsessed, I was going to read the books before they got big, but I always would be too broke to buy the book, and I don't rent books from the library too often. So I read the books and I loved them, and have to say that no matter what this is going to be more like all book-based movies and deal with it, and get over it. if you want the good version, read the book gain and use your imagination.

The Saga was written in a away that made us all fall in love with the characters as if we knew them personally... Guys, NO MATTER WHO PRODUCES/DIRECTS/ACTS... Nothing will change the fact that the books were INCREDIBLE.
I think the CAST - IS PERFECT... the special effects on the other had could use some work.
As for the movie being exactly like the book- its not gonna happen! They need to fit a 400pg book into 1.5 hrs. its not GONNA HAPPEN.

Watch the trailer more carefully, the scene where bella is in the meadow with laurent and the scene where she shouts "jake! run!" and he transforms, are two different scenes, she's wearing different clothes. I'm sure there will be more wolves in the meadow scene :D

Yeah I wasnt to impressed with the movie, but other than that I still think that the cast for the movie fit perfectly, its a shame they couldnt fit everything in. But in new moon they are changing alot of things, which dont need to be, but maybe for more action, it is a movie of course, they can't every single detail, but like I said twilight could have been better, indeed.
