Spotted: Nicole Richie and her babydaddy's brother Benji Madden lunching at Hugo's in West Hollywood with a couple of gal pals over the weekend... and later on? Shopping at Monique Lhuillier! We can definitely see Benji as the best man, but who knew he'd take the role of wedding planner so seriously?

Can it be? Did Joel finally put a ring on it? Nic would make a lovely bride, wouldn't she???

What could be better than Nicole Scherzinger giving a private concert and Real Housewife Gretchen Rossi performing with a man in his underwear at her side? Okay, so maybe an expose on Lindsay Lohan's hoarding is better, but this is a close second!

The girls partied with Nicky Hilton, Girl Next DoorBridget Marquardt and others at Allison Melnick's SVEDKA Adult Playground 2033 last night at Playhouse and it looks like things got a little wild!

Nicole Richie is showing off her fab figure and new clothing line, Winter Kate, in the new issue of the Marie Claire UK, where once again she addresses those pesky anorexia rumors.

"I felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don’t. It’s extremely insulting and irresponsible. An eating disorder is serious and it’s a disease." We totally agree with that assessment, but we also think there's no way to look at her body now versus her body in 2006 and NOT raise the question:

Apparently, we weren't the only one. Nicole says that usually she just tried to ignore the rumors, but "The only time it bothered me was when I was in a store trying on shoes and these girls came up to me - they were probably like 13 or 14 - and their mother came over, and she said, 'Are you taking care of yourself, because my girls think that you're not.' That was upsetting," the five-one star said.

But just look at her now! A fashion icon and MILF as her partner, Joel Madden tweeted yesterday. "MILF ALERT," he bragged. "Dayummmm. I'm patting myself on the back right now. High Five me."

This is just like that scene in Mean Girls when The Plastics tell Regina, "you can't sit with us!" Well, sorta.

Madeo was basically a ghost town of Lindsay Lohan's past last night - ex-BFF Nicole Richie, ex-fling Stavros Niarchos (with Nicky Hilton), ex-stylist Rachel Zoe and, of course, ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson! Can you imagine them all in the same restaurant together? I die.

While they didn't sit at the same table, you know they at least said hi to each other! Hopefully this reunion won't push Lindsay over the edge, especially the fact that Nicole and SamRo were hanging out again...

As you may recall, LiLo is oh so jealous of their close friendship. But if she would just clean up her act, everyone could be BFFs again! Right?

Happy birthday to Nicole Richie's adorable Harlow Winter Kate Madden, who turns two today.

Nicole tweeted this morning that she was "Up super early sneaking around the house in the dark setting up surprises for when my birthday girl wakes up!" Joel also tweeted a birthday greeting (is Harlow even ON Twitter?) "Happy Birthday to the most beautiful little girl in the world." The doting dad continued, "Harlow makes me proud every. single. Day. i'm blessed."

Joel wasn't the only one who was blessed -- Posh and Becks' sons Brooklyn and Cruz graced Harlow with their presence at her bday party yesterday (gallery below!)

This evening we spotted Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie at Nicky Hilton's house for a get together to mourn the loss of Casey Johnson, and the mood was very somber as the starlets came and went.

X17 photogs on the scene tell X17online, "Paris and Nicole walked in the house holding hands and they acted like sisters. The two best friends looked closer then ever - it was so nice to see them together again despite the sad circumstances."

When the two left Nicky's house a few hours later, Paris and Nicole both looked very distraught over the death of their childhood friend. Paris wore sunglasses to cover up her eyes, and Nicole shielded her face from photogs, as she had been crying most of the day. Though this is undoubtedly a very difficult time for the girls, we are happy to see them back together again.

Nicole and Joel did some post-Christmas shopping at Barney's yesterday ... We're still analyzing her new brunette look.

Nicole Tweeted about the fresh color, saying: "I went brunette. I feel smarter already."

Yesterday Nicole showed Harlow that Barney wasn't just a big purple dinosaur by taking the tot to shop at the chic department store in Beverly Hills!

We're loving how Harlow's curly hair is growing out, but we're loving mom Nicole's dark locks even more!

I bet it will be a very merry X-mas at the Richie-Madden house this year!

Go Nicole Richie! She's given birth to two beautiful kids, Harlow and Sparrow, and her body has already fully recovered. That dress is bangin'!

And the brunette locks? Luscious!

She's certainly no stranger to television, but we had no idea Nicole Richie wanted to pursue legit acting like this!

Last night Nicole announced on her website that she will star in a new comedy for ABC, and she seems over the moon about it! Nicole posted this message on her official blog:

"I am so excited to announce that I am officially working on a television project! I am creating a half hour scripted comedy for ABC in which I will be starring in, as well as producing.

The story revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships. She must deal with, and navigate the many ideas of what a woman’s role is: modern vs. traditional.

Lately, I have been surrounded by many different women of all ages and walks of life. It amazes me to watch and observe how many different ideas there are about what a woman’s role should be in this era. I’ve taken these fascinating ideas, and compiled them into something that I think will be very special (and funny!). We’re still in the very early stages and I can’t wait to share more with you soon!"

Nicole definitely knows how to make us laugh, so does she have what it takes to bring in killer reviews and ratings? Guess we'll find out!

After being hospitalized last week for pneumonia, Nicole Richie is still recuperating at home with her family, but it sounds like the numerous messages she's received from fans have helped cheer her up!

In a post on her official blog titled, "Thank You," Nicole writes:

I’d like to thank you all for the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks. I wish I could have been there for the Bebe-House of Harlow 1960 evening. I was truly looking forward to meeting everyone there and sharing that moment and capsule collection with you. I am also disappointed I wasn’t able to attend the Holt-Renfrew Calgary opening. I heard the store looks beautiful and Holt has been such an amazing partner over the past year. I will definitely be back in the Spring when Winter Kate launches.

Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover. Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving.

After being admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday with pneumonia, Joel Madden says his lady love is back at home.

Joel writes on Good Charlotte's blog:

"So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week. But don't worry all is well and we are home with no problems. I was supposed to go into the studio and finish the last few vocals for the record, but that had to wait. Family first."

Good to hear! Hopefully Nicole is getting the rest she needs to recuperate!

X17online has learned that Nicole Richie has been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital.

“Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia," her rep said in a statement. "She is doing well."

Hope she feels better soon!

Yesterday we caught Nicole Richie leaving the hair salon in Hollywood, and the starlet's style looked fab, but what about the color? At first we thought Nicole dyed her locks brown, but then we got a peek at her tips, which are just as blonde as before!

Maybe she's growing out the beachy look the all natural way? We'd love to see her back as a brunette, so we can't wait for the transformation to be complete!

Better cover your eyes Lindsay Lohan!

Last night Nicole Richie and Samantha Ronson arrived at Jay-Z's concert at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion together, and the ladies weren't exactly chatty with photogs on the way out, but they definitely looked like they had a great time.

While Rihanna's surprise appearance was what most people were talking about, we couldn't help but notice Nicole's twins on the way out! Clearly she wanted to show them off, and we don't blame her - she looks great!

Anyway, back to Sam and Nicole ... we know Lindsay has gotten jealous of their friendship in the past, so we can't imagine how pissed she's going to be when she sees these pictures! Or maybe she's already moving on? After all, she did delete Sam from her Twitter!

Last month, Joel Madden denied rumors that he and Nicole Richie had tied the knot in a secret ceremony, but yesterday, X17online spotted Richie wearing a wedding band on her ring finger while out with Harlow at the park!

On October 21st, Joel blogged:

Married?? I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn't get married.

But that was almost two weeks ago. It's definitely possible that Nicole and Joel could have pulled off a wedding since then.

Plus, that ring Nicole's wearing is a classic wedding band, it's too simple to be just an engagement ring.

So did they or didn't they?
