After being dogged by wedding rumors throughout Nicole Richie's pregnancy with Harlow Jean, it appears that the diminutive diva and Joel Madden may finally be ready to tie the knot!
OK! Magazine spoke to a friend of the couple who confirmed that Richie and Madden are planning a wedding, with invitations scheduled to go out early next week. "I can’t give too much away," explains the friend, "but I can say is that it will be this summer."
It sounds like it's going to be an elegant affair, too - the couple's friend confirms that Nicole and Joel have already hired a celebrity wedding planner (who's tasting potential cakes at Alice's Tea Shop in New York as we speak!) and have started picking out what everyone's going to wear. How exciting!
The big question, however, is whether Nicole's going to invite Paris to be one of her bridesmaids. Think these two longtime frenemies can come together to make Nicole's big day just a little more perfect?
