USA Today is reporting that Oprah Winfrey, through her Angel Network, is now responsible for an additional 25 new classrooms open to South African children. An environmentally friendly public school with a library and two sports fields was funded by the public charity helmed by the TV talk show legend.
The advanced building structure actually makes use of collected rainwater and the grounds have been planted with vegetables as snacks for the the kids. What - no vending machines?
Hopefully Oprah gets to play a part in putting the school's book list together!
