Okay, seriously...just because he tried to kill himself everyone is trying to be all super nice and say good things about him now. Has anyone honestly seen one negative story about him since the "incident"?

Honestly if I chose some of the movie roles that he did I might try to end it all too.

Luke is my favorite Wilson. Though looks-wise their brother Andrew is probably better looking than both of them. But I think both Owen and Luke are good actors and both have a certain appeal to them. I guess I'll just be on Team Wilson instead of trying to choose between two positives. ;)

6:18 - It wasn't a real, "I want to die" suicide attempt. Borderline personality disorder ... they go at themselves with knives all the time. This man is SERIOUSLY troubled which is why everyone talks so good about him all the time despite his drug issues and why he still can't promote his movies - except for five-minute pre-scripted crap here and there. He's sick. He has no new movies lined up because his family is trying to get him to go away somewhere for a nice, looong vacation (and I don't mean Hawaii).

I love Owen. He is a genuinely nice person. I applaud him for living his life on his own terms. Maybe there haven't been any negative stories because there aren't any salacioius enough to warrant explotation. Keep the faith, O; you are a beautiful spirit.

I don't know about Owen being "genuinely nice". There are a lot of stories around that he's kind of a miserable jerk in real-life. And while it's true that there haven't been any negative stories about him; there also haven't been any positive (or really ANY) stories about him either - and he has a major movie coming out? The public just doesn't care anymore and he doesn't seem to care about his fans - he should retire.

I agree. Owen gives his fans nothing. I, for one, am fading away. It's hard to stay interested with no interviews, public appearances ect. Aniston is promoting M&M, but it does not seem like Owen is doing his part. I can't imagine how much longer he will be able to make movies without doing press, unless he produces them himself. I wish Owen well, but maybe he should focus more on his writing/producing and forget about acting, at least for awhile - personally, I think his best work was as a writer. At this point in his career Owen can certainly afford to be more discriminating in his choices.

Maybe if you went to Wilson fan sites.. you would actually find out that Owen has in fact been promoting M&M!
