It's funny to see Owen in a white suit--I wonder if he borrowed it from Wes, who lives in Paris and always wears a signature white suit. X-17 may not know this, but Owen's mom was Richard Avedon's assistant, so that's why Owen was most likely there at the Avedon exhibit. His mother would be proud that he dressed up for it!

Some of the commenters act like Owen Wilson is a baby or a little child. Celebrities are followed all the time and they don't all act like Owen Wilson does. All he needed to do was smile, say hi, pose for a picture, then tell the photog to scram. Instead, he gets all cagey and wierd. He is definitely an actor who doesn't handle his celebrity well. If he doesn't like it, he should say good-bye to the biz and the millions of dollars the fans pay him. To sum it up, he's got a really sucky attitude.

You have a point. No, I don't think Owen is a child, and I thought he should have posed and said hello or something, too. I agree, they would have laid off if he had done that. I still think it's really weird, though, to just keep following him down the blocks, up and down stairwells, onto the subway, over the river and through the woods, ya know? Just a wee bit much. Not saying Owen shouldn't have played up a little, but really should he have to just because he is a star. He shouldn't have to be "on" all the time.

Yeah, I agree with 12:03. He draws more attention to himself by acting like that - "cagey and weird" is a good way to describe it. I seriously think that this guy has more than a few screws loose and really needs to get out of the business for a while, for his own health.

Yes, I see your point too. I just think Owen W needs to learn how to play the game and things would be much easier for him. He wouldn't be followed through the woods to grandmother's house if he would just pose and answer a question - with the agreement that if he does so the photog will leave him alone. That's what other stars do and it usually works and is quite simple. To be 100% honest, when I see OW acting this way, I get the feeling that he's a bit "off," or a jerk, or at least very immature. But I think you are more right now. I don't have sound on my computer but I watched it again, and his eyes are darting back and forth. He is walking one direction then sees the camera, and walks back again where he was coming from? It doesn't really make sense. It almost seems now that he is prolonging the whole process. And in retrospect, I can't remember the last time Owen just smiled and laughed with the people, fans or photographers alike. Perhaps he does need further counseling or something.

You are wrong. I just saw a video of Jason Bateman out walking around with his family. His wife made an agreement with the paps for a shot, and when the paps got it they left them alone. Some paps are jerks, but most know what the boundaries are. If certain paps cross the line, the other paps will try to reign in the offender. This Owen pap clearly just wanted Owen to say something.

I seriously think Owen was high. When he was in the tunnel, he peeked his head out as if he expected the pap who was there ONE SECOND AGO to have suddenly disappeared then he walked REALLY slowly (seriously - it looked like slow-mo!) up the stairs. Then, in the subway, he wanted to get on the train and the door was open RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Instead he went to the second car (the doors had closed by this time) and leaned his hand against it dramatically. He could have disappeared into the crowd at that point, been ON the Metro and well on his way. Owen seemed disoriented and I DON'T think it was because of the pap attention - he must be used to that by now. There is a REASON why this guy tries to avoid the paps that much - drugs, drugs, drugs.

Those are all really good points.
It reminds me a lot of the other video X17 has of him on the beach where he goes up the hill then down the hill then you see Garcia but you never see Owen come back. I think there was a lot of editing on that video so it's really confusing, but still--Owen was acting straaaange...Yes, there's a strong possi bility that he is high in both those videos, but it could also be a mental problem as well. I'm thinking anxiety to an extreme, possibly combined with weed. Not a good combo, if true! And, why is he wearing Wes' suit? Good lord, not his style AT ALL! LOL!

8:05 - I remember that video! He hid in the hills until a convoy of cars drove onto the beach to come and get him! That was in February and he doesn't seem any better in dealing with the paps.
