No!!! I WANT to see Owen swimmming, even if it's every day. It's part of his drug rehab program and people should know that he's sticking with it. Also, he needs to get used to the paps if he's going to stay in public life. Leaving him alone and treating him like something that might break is NOT going to help him in the long run. He needs to learn how to deal with the attention again and not act all squirrely like he did the other day in your video. Dealing in a proper way with the attention is part of getting better and he can't do that if the paps avoid him. Maybe one of these days he'll even smile for the camera! (That would be nice!!) I think that the whole "Owen and Kate Reunited" thing is just good publicity for him - y'know, "Look how much he's changed - even Kate wants him back." They probably are friends now, but that's about it. The BIGGER mystery is why won't his people let Owen TALK? He hasn't given a solo print/TV interview since the summer of 2006. Breakdown aside, that's almost TWO YEARS - like an eternity for a popular actor with one movie being released and another one filming to remain quiet, especially one who has never before shunned the press. It makes me wonder just how "all better" this guy REALLY is. I won't believe he's "back to normal" until I hear OWEN (not his publicist, friends or the tabloids) address his fans ...

So, Owen has to prove to YOU that he is now ok. Really?? He's an actor. Not a pilot flying a bunch of passengers, not an elected official running a country,not a surgeon holding someone's life in his hands. He's an actor who gets paid to pretend to be someone else. I never really liked this guy but I do feel for him now. I can't imagine having a bunch of freaks feeling entitled to know by health status. Creepy.

Thank you Kitty! I agree (except for the fact of not liking the guy because I always have). But I'm not like these fake fans who claim they OWN Owen's life and are demanding answers and believe every single piece of gossip told about the guy like Speak up and Calliope. I mean seriously these tabloids MAKE THIS UP! I agree I think Owen is an alcoholic but I DO NOT believe he has ever been on drugs. If people actually thought with common sense you would realize Owen looked TOO HEALTHY before his breakdown to have been on drugs. Get over it people, it's tabloid gossip and they don't know anymore than anyone else what really happened to him. NOBODY KNOWS except the people that really matter and sorry to break it to you but the public and fans aren't it....they would be those that love Owen for who he is his family, friends and his physicians. If Owen wants to talk, fine he can talk, but he doesn't need to be stalked by the stalkarazzi and speak up just to satisfy you people. It's not like what he would say would really matter to you anyway because YOU ALREADY MADE UP YOUR MIND ABOUT HIM so why the heck should he speak up? Heck the public and the press think Bottle Rocket was shown at Sundance when Owen and Wes have REPEATEDLY said it was denied being shown at Sundance. If the press can't reporters can't do proper research on things he's ACTUALLY SAID in the past then why do you think the truth here will be handled any differently.

If you hate the guy then move on to a new celebrity but stop putting demands on the guy just to satisfy your condescending attitude that you OWN HIM because you don't.

Personally I hope Owen sues the pants off the tabloids for MILLIONS because it would serve them right!

I don't know who you think you are, Kitty, but you totally missed my point. I'm a fan and I have EVERY right to be concerned about Owen Wilson. I DON'T feel entitled to know his health status (where did I say that I did?) but I WOULD like to read or hear SOMETHING from HIM - about his new movie, upcoming projects, etc... When I wrote he should address his address his fans, I didn't mean he should give a detailed medical report or even discuss the "incident." And when I wrote "back to normal", I meant "back to work" - and for a movie star like Owen, that means doing movie promotion and the like. It's perfectly acceptable to expect that much and I am CERTAINLY well within my rights to post my opinion about it. I think that YOU'RE being judgmental and nasty by calling people who post reasonable comments here names like "freak" and "creepy". I could call YOU pretentious, bitchy and somewhat stupid for missing my point and jumping to your own conclusions about what I meant and then posting a nasty and misguided reply on it. And Bonnie - you just jumped on Kitty's bandwagon. No-one claimed to OWN anyone - re-read my explanation of my post above. You're just an Owen apologist with your ... HE doesn't remember it and, unless there was someone else in the room with him just when it happened (doubtful), then no-one (including Owen himself) knows ... So, anything he DOES say about it publicly (and privately - to "family, friends and physicians") would just be bullshit anyway (and HEAVILY spun for the public) and I wouldn't be interested in reading a bunch of lies. Again, way to miss my point, kitty and bonnie - morons!

Owen's personal life and struggles are none of your business. Period. Entertainers are paid for their performances. When people expect, or in your case, demand more personal information things get creepy. Yes, CREEPY. CRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPY.
