Paris Hilton has earned her share of nicknames through the years - and now we can add "medical miracle" to the list! According to Science Magazine, images of the celebutante have been proven to have "a painkilling effect" on lab mice, measured by the amount of time the mice being tested were distracted from "a painful injection" which had been recently administered. Unfortunately, the effect only registered in male mice, a disparity which the scientists chalk up to male mice perceiving humans as potential predators more acutely than female mice. Either way, it's certainly not the first effect Paris has had on males!
